which, if not avoided, may result in minor/moderate injury
or product/property damage. It also alerts against unsafe
practices.
When using this or any other electrical appliance,
always follow these basic safety precautions:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
WARNING-- To reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, or serious personal injury:
• This appliance may be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they
are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the
appliance and that they fully understand the
potential hazards.

• Always use the product on a flat, stable, heat-
resistant surface.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may
be high when the appliance is operating. Make sure not to
touch these hot parts of the appliance.
• Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at
least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to
allow adequate air circulation.
• Do not place the product on or near a gas or electric
burner, or inside or on top of a heated oven or other heat
source.
• Do not allow the product to touch curtains, wall
coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable
materials during its use.
• Do not touch hot surfaces of the product. Do not
move the product while it is plugged in. Allow the product
to thoroughly cool before handling it.
• Do not use attachments not recommended for use

liquids. If the product falls into water, immediately unplug

the water.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it
connects to the product as the Power Cord could fray and
break.

• Do not plug or unplug the product into/from an
electrical outlet with a wet hand.
• Keep the product and its Power Cord away from
heated surfaces.
• Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power
Cord or Plug, is not working properly, has been dropped,
damaged, or exposed to water or other liquids.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.
• This appliance may be used by children of at least 8
years of age, as long as they are supervised and have
been given instructions about using the appliance safely

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
• To avoid a circuit overload when using this product,
do not operate another high-wattage product on the same
electrical circuit.
• A short power supply cord is provided with this product.
An extension cord is not recommended for use with this
product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at
least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang
where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

To Use
CAUTION: Do not use this product to cook or defrost frozen food. All food must be completely
defrosted before cooking it with this product.
NOTE: During the initial uses of this product, it may produce some smoke. This is normal and
will subside with further use.
1. Before using this product for the first time, clean it as described in the “Care and
Maintenance” section.
2. Press in the end of the Locking Latch nearest the Handle to unlock the product.
3. Open the unit by pulling the Handle up.
4. Close the Plates and turn the unit on by plugging it into a standard electrical outlet. Verify
that the Power Indicator Light illuminates in orange.
WARNING: The Cooking Plates and metal surfaces of the unit will become extremely hot when in
use. To avoid a burn hazard, wear heat resistant mitts or gloves and touch only the black portion
of the Handle.
1. After the unit preheats for approximately five minutes, the Ready Indicator Light will illuminate
in green, indicating the product is ready for use.
2. Use the Handle to lift the Upper Plate. Place food on the Lower Plate using wooden or
plastic heat-resistant utensils.
CAUTION: Do not use metal utensils on this product, as they will scratch and damage the Plates’
non-stick coating.
Use the Handle to lower and rest the Upper Plate on top of the food.
NOTES:
• The cooking time for different foods depends on the type and thickness of the foods.
• Foods should be cooked thoroughly before consumption.
1. When the food is cooked as desired, lift the Handle to open the Plates, then remove the
food using the utensils. If more cooking will be done at this time, close the Plates to conserve heat.
2. Repeat Steps 7-9 until all cooking is complete, reapplying cooking oil as necessary.
3. Turn off the product by unplugging the Power Cord from the electrical outlet.
4. When the unit has completely cooled, clean and dry it.
5. Lock the unit in its closed position by pressing in the end of the Locking Latch farthest
from the Handle.

CLEANING
CLEANING AND CARE
• Always unplug the Grill Toaster and allow it to cool before
cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm.
There is no need to disassemble Grill Toaster for cleaning.
Never immerse the Grill Toaster in water or place in
dishwasher.
• Wipe cooking plates with a soft to remove food residue.
For baked on food residue squeeze some warm water
mixed with detergent over the food residue then clean with
a non abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet kitchen
paper over the grill to moisten the food residue.
• Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage
the non-stick coating.
• Do not use metal utensils to remove your foods, they can
damage the non-stick surface.
• Wipe the outside of the grill toaster with a damp cloth only.
Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad
or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. Do not
immerse in water or any other liquid.
• Do not place in the dishwasher.
STORAGE
• Always unplug the Grill Toaster before storage.
• Always make sure the Grill Toaster is cool and dry before
string.
• The power cord can be wrapped around the bottom of
base for storing.

EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY

recommendations, poor conditions of use, etc.), insufficient maintenance or misuse of the device,
as well as the use of unsuitable accessories.
- Damage of external origin: fire, water damage, electrical surge, etc.
- Any equipment that has been disassembled, even partially, by persons other than those
authorized to do so (notably the user).
- The products whose serial number would be missing, deteriorated or illegible that would not
allow its identification.
- The products subjected to leasing, demonstration, or exhibition.
(*) Some parts of your device, called wear parts or consumables, deteriorate with time and
frequency of use of your device. This wear and tear are normal but can be accentuated by poor
conditions of use or maintenance of your device. These parts are therefore not covered by the
warranty.
The accessories supplied with the device are also excluded from the warranty. They cannot be
