BEFORE FIRST USE
• Read all instructions carefully and save them for future reference.
• Remove all packaging materials. You may want to keep the box and packing materials for
use at a later date.
• Set the appliance on a dry, clean, and at surface.
• Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping with a warm, damp sponge or cloth
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cooking spray.
Notice: When your appliance is heated for the rst time, it may emit slight smoke or odor.
This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your
appliance.

HOW TO USE
• Close the appliance and plug it into the wall outlet. You will notice that the Power Indicator
is on, indicating that the appliance has begun preheating.
• It will take approximately 3 to 5 minutes to reach the desired temperature. Then the Ready
Indicator Light will be on.

• Open the lid and put the food on the bottom cooking plate.
• Close the lid. The Ready Indicator Light will be off.
• Cook for approximately 3 to 5 minutes, until the Ready Indicator Light illuminates again, or
until golden brown, adjusting the time to suit your own individual taste.
• When the food is cooked, use the Handle to open the lid. Remove the food with the help
of a heat-proof plastic or wooden spatula. Never use metal tongs, metal spatulas, knives,
or other metal silverware as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cook
plates.
• Once you are nished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave the unit
open to cool.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to
clean when it is just slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble the appliance for
cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or place in a dishwasher.
• To clean, simply wipe the cooking plates with a soft sponge, towel, or paper towel and
remove any food residue.
• For baked-on food lightly moisten the residual food residue on the plates with a warm
water and dish soap mixture. Use a nonabrasive plastic scouring pad or a wet towel and
remove the food residue.
• Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating.
• Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any
abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the nish.
• Remove and empty the drip tray after each use and wash the tray in warm, soapy water.
Avoid the use of scouring pads or harsh detergents as they may damage the surface.
Rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth and replace.
STORAGE
• Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
• Always make sure the appliance is cool and dry before storing.
• Cord wraps around the unit for convenient, upright storage.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
• Lea todas las instrucciones cuidadosamente y guárdelas para futuras consultas.

• Coloque el aparato sobre una supercie seca, limpia y plana.
• Limpie las placas de cocción con una esponja o un paño húmedo y tibio

de aceite o rocío vegetal.
Aviso: cuando su electrodoméstico se calienta por primera vez, puede emitir un ligero humo u

CÓMO UTILIZAR
• Cierre el aparato y conéctelo a la toma de corriente. Notará que el indicador de encendido
está encendido, lo que indica que el aparato ha comenzado a precalentarse.
• Tardará aproximadamente 3 a 5 minutos en alcanzar la temperatura deseada. Luego se
encenderá la luz indicadora de Listo.

• Abra la tapa y coloque los alimentos en la placa de cocción inferior.
• Cierre la tapa. Se apagará la luz indicadora de Listo.
• Cocine durante aproximadamente 3 a 5 minutos, hasta que la luz indicadora de Listo se
ilumine nuevamente, o hasta que el sándwich esté dorado, ajustando el tiempo para que
se adapte a su gusto individual.
• Cuando la comida esté cocinada, use el asa para abrir la tapa. Retire la comida con la
ayuda de una espátula resistente al calor de plástico o de madera. Nunca use pinzas de
metal, espátulas de metal, cuchillos u otros cubiertos de metal, ya que pueden dañar el
revestimiento antiadherente de las placas de cocción.
• Una vez que haya terminado de cocinar, desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente y deje
la unidad abierta para que se enfríe.
LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO
• Siempre desenchufe el aparato y deje que se enfríe antes de limpiarlo. La unidad es más
fácil de limpiar cuando está ligeramente tibia. No es necesario desmontar el aparato para
limpiarlo.
• Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua ni lo coloque en un lavavajillas.
• Para limpiar, simplemente limpie las placas de cocción con una esponja suave, una toalla
o una toalla de papel y elimine cualquier residuo de comida.
• Para alimentos que se han pegado durante la cocción, humedezca ligeramente los restos
de comida en los platos con una mezcla de agua tibia y detergente. Utilice un estropajo de

• Desenchufe siempre el aparato antes de guardarlo.
