Basic Instructions
Itisveryimportanttokeepcleanyourpotwhencooking.Rememberthatyour
programmablecookingincorporatesthefoodheatingsystemindenitelyonce
itnishescooking,andyoumustcancelit.
•Measuring cup: Itisincorporatedasreferencemeasureforrecipebooks,so
whenarecipebookreferstoameasure,itisreferringtothemeasuringcup.
•Kitchen tray:Ametaltrayisincludedwithyourpotusedforbakingandit
shouldbeusedinthecasedindicatedintherecipebook.Itisplacedinside
thecupandthefoodtobebakedareplacedonit.Itisalsousedforsteaming
anditshouldbeusedonlyifitisindicatedintherecipebook,itisplaced
insidethecupwithatleast2measuresofwater.
•Ladle:Itisatoolspecicallydesignedforyourpot,asaspecialfeatureit
includesanon-corrosivematerialidealforworkingonnon-sticksurfaces.It
isimportantthatyoualwaysusethisaccessoryforcookingwithyourpot,or
awoodenorsiliconetool,neveruseabrasiveormetalutensils.
Types of cooking
•Stew:Werecommendyoutoenterallfoodsandselectthecookingtimeat
lowpressuremenu,remembertoputalittlemorewaterifyouwantmore
liquidremainingontheend,toascertaintheextentofthewater,takeinto
accountthatthecookingsystembarelyloseswater,regardingthetime,we
recommendabout35%lesstimethantraditionally.
•Steaming:Useitonlywiththetray,youcancookinthehighpressurekitchen
menu,regardingthetime,itwilltake50%lesstimethantraditionalway.
•Griddle or grill:Dependingonthetypeoffoodthegriddlemenuortheoven
menuwiththelidopenwillbeused,ifthefoodrequiresheatoutputadvise
withthelidopen,theovenmenu,ifinsteadbecauseofitssoftnessitrequires
a normal re the griddle menu will be better, to achieve the eect of the
griddle,itisimportantthatthereisnowaterinside,andtoheatthecontainer
withoutthefoodwewanttoroasttogetasimilarresultthanwithagriddle.
•Pressure: For pressure cooking the proper menu will be high pressure
cooking,donotputmuchwaterthanthatyouwanttostayintheend,itwill
takehalfthetimethanconventionalusage.
•Bain-marie: Thekitchentrayandamoldisused,alittlemorethanhalfof
themoldorthesteambucketwillbelledwithwater(lowpressurecooking).
•Roasting/baking:Onthetraykitchenwithovenmenusetandtheliddown
butwithnoweight,remembertoresettheweightattheend,withbarelyany
liquid.Ifithastobeheatedandinthiswaybrowned,werecommendedto
heatintheovenmenuforaminute,heatitfor3withoutthekitchentrayon
eachsideandthenputonthekitchentrayandroast.
•Pastry, masses and breads.Wewillusetheovenmenuwithnoweightas
indicatedintherecipes,directlyonthecup.Forkneadingwerecommendto
pourallingredientsoverthemaincupandmixthemwiththeladle.
