•Ifyouareinstallingthiskitonanewdieseltraction
unitwithoutaseat,removethe4carriagebolts
and4nutssecuringtheshippingbrackettothe
seatpanandarmrest(Figure1).Discardthe
shippingbracketandseatpanfasteners.Savethe
armrestfastenersandspacer.
Important:Ensurethatyousupportthe
armrestafterremovingitsothatitdoesnot
crimporhangbythecablesandwires.

•Ifyouareinstallingapremiumseatonatraction
unitwithastandardseatinstalled,completethe
followingprocedure:
1.Parkthemachineonlevelground,shutoff
theengine,engagetheparkingbrake,and
removetheignitionkey.
2.Removethe2carriageboltsandnuts
securingthearmresttotheseat(Figure2).
Savethefasteners.
Important:Ensurethatyousupportthe
armrestafterremovingitsothatitdoes
notcrimporhangbythecablesand
wires.

Note:Thereare2installationlocationsinthe
seatpan.Fortalloperators,installtheseatinto
therearholes.Forshorteroperators,installthe
seatintothefrontholes.

Seat-AdjustingLever
Theseat-adjustingleverislocatedonthefront,left
corneroftheseat(Figure7).Twistingthehandleup
allowsyoutoadjusttheseatforwardandrearward.

Youcanadjusttheseatforyourweighttoprovidea
smoothandcomfortableride.
Important:Toadjusttheseat,thedrivermustbe
seated.
Adjusttheseatforyourweightbypullingoutthelever
andthenpumpingituptoincreasethesuspensionor
downtodecreaseit(Figure9).

Whenthearrowisinthemiddleclearareaofthe
viewingwindow,youhaveadjustedtheseatcorrectly
foryourweight.
Whenyoureachtheminimum/maximumweight
adjustment,youcanhearitreachingtheupperor
lowerendstop.
Important:Topreventinjurytoyouand/or
damagetothemachine,checkthesettingforyour
weightandadjustitbeforeoperatingthemachine.

Thelumbarsupportincreasesboththeseatingcomfort
andacustomizedlumbarsupportforyourlowerback.
Turntheadjustmentknobupwardtoadjustthe
curvatureintheupperpartofthebackrestcushion.
Turntheknobdownwardtoadjustthecurvatureinthe
lowerpartofthebackrestcushion(Figure10).

Youcanadjustthebackoftheseattoprovideamore
comfortableride.
Pullupthelockinglevertoreleasethebackrestcatch
(Figure10).Whenreleasingthebackrestcatch,do
notapplyloadtothebackrestbypressingagainstit.
Byexertingpressureonoroffthefrontorrearofthe
seatyoucanmoveittothedesiredposition.Release
thelockinglevertolockthebackrest.
Note:Thebackrestshouldnotbeabletomoveinto
anotherpositionafterithasbeenlocked.
