Arrange

hardware

according

size

and

type,

and

proceed

After

assembly,

recheck

the

mower

with

figure

sure

mower

attached

correctly.

Remove

the

two

carriage

bolts

(E,

figure

26)

with

their

hardware

from

the

mower

deck.

Loosen,

but

not

remove,

the

hex

nut

holding

the

large

flat

washer

(F).

Install

the

shield

(D)

shown,

making

sure

the

notch

the

shield

seated

behind

the

large

washer

(F).

Install

the

two

carriage

bolts

(E)

from

underneath

through

the

mower

deck

and

deflector.

install

washer,

THE

MOWER

Make

sure

all

parts

have

been

installed

described

"Setup

Instructions."

Make

sure

electric

clutch

has

been

installed

described

instructions

supplied

with

the

clutch.

Place

tractor

and

mower

smooth

level

surface.

Turn

the

front

wheels

for

sharp

left

turn

and

slide

the

mower

under

the

tractor

from

the

right

side.

Align

the

mower

hitch

under

the

mounting

brackets

tractor

front

axle

(see

figure

9).

From

front

tractor

use

wood

block

support

and

plank

lever

lift

the

mower

hitch

into

the

mounting

brackets.

While

holding

mower

install

and

spring

clip

each

side

attach

mower

mount¬

ing

brackets

(procedure

most

easily

done

two

persons).

Use

front

holes

for

tractors

with

agricul¬

tural

tires,

rear

holes

for

turf

tires.

Center

the

mower

the

axle,

then

tighten

the

hardware

for

the

mounting

brackets.
