employee and technology decision they make. KIRK solutions from Polycom

help these business operations improve workplace productivity by delivering

affordable wireless telephony solutions that are simple to install, highly reliable

and operate in the most demanding physical environments.

The KIRK Wireless Server 500 is the reliable and cost-effective choice for small

business wireless telephony. This system uses an analogue telephone interface

and supports a maximum of eight wireless handsets from a single integrated

base station. Up to six additional repeaters can be added for total coverage area

much greater than single base station cordless telephones. KIRK Repeaters only

require power for operation and do not need cabling back to the KIRK Wireless

Server 500. Up to three KIRK Repeaters can be daisy-chained to further extend

coverage or to reach challenging areas.

Using the well-established Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications

(DECT) standard, the KIRK Wireless Server 500 does not interfere with other

on-site devices such as microwave ovens, RFID tags, cordless phones, or Wi-Fi

networks.

main ofﬁce or the area with highest call trafﬁc density and KIRK repeaters are placed

across the rest of the building to achieve the necessary coverage.

Wireless KIRK Handsets come in multiple designs and offer a wide range of

functionality. The low-cost, lightweight handsets are built for casual use in general

ofﬁces to very demanding and rugged environments such as manufacturing, retail and

industrial warehouses.
