Informationen zum Vorbild
Um den Bedarf an leistungsstarken Güterzug-Lokomotiven bei
der Deutschen Bahn AG zu decken, wurden bereits 1995 diese
Maschinen bestellt. Siemens und Krauss-Maffei entwickelten
die Eurosprinter- Familie weiter und präsentierten die neue
Baureihe 152. Hierbei wurde gegenüber dem EuroSprinter die
elektrische Ausrüstung nochmals optimiert und die Umwelt-
freundlichkeit weiter verbessert. Da sich der Einsatzzweck auf
Güterzüge erstreckt, reicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 140
km/h vollkommen aus. Die Dauerleistung von 6,4 MW in Verbin-
dung mit einer Lokmasse von 86 Tonnen und Einzelradsatz-Steu-
erung ergibt eine gewaltige Anfahrzugkraft von 300 kN.
Leistungsmäßig befindet sich die BR 152 somit auf einer Stufe
mit einer BR 101. Durch die andere Auslegung ergibt sich aber
ein deutlich kräftigeres Anfahrverhalten. Durch die eingebaute
Wendezug-einrichtung kann die BR 152 bei Bedarf auch im
Personennahverkehr eingesetzt werden. Bauart-bedingt hat
diese Lokomotive zum Beispiel mit einem Regionalzug bestehend
aus Doppelstock-wagen leichtes Spiel.
Trotz der noch recht jungen Geschichte dieser Baureihe gibt es
bereits diverse Beschriftungs- und Farbvarianten bis hin zu den
heute so populären Werbeloks.
Information about the Prototype
These units were ordered as early as 1995 to cover the German
Railroad, Inc.’s need for powerful freight locomotives. Siemens
and Krauss-Maffei developed the EuroSprinter family further
and presented the new class 152. The electrical equipment
was improved in comparison to the EuroSprinter as was the
locomotive’s environmentally friendly features. Since these units
are restricted to freight trains, a maximum speed of 140 km/h (88
mph) is quite sufficient. The continuous power rating of 6.4 me-
gawatts (approx. 8,582 horsepower) in conjunction with a weight
of 86 metric tons and single-axle steering results in a massive
tractive effort of 67,440 pounds.
In terms of power, the class 152 is on a level with the class 101.
The design of the former has resulted in a considerably power
powerful acceleration.
Due to its built-in push/pull train equipment, the class 152 can
be used on demand in commuter passenger service also. The
design of this locomotive makes it child’s play for it to pull a
regional commuter train consists of bilevel cars.
Despite the still relatively short history of thi class, there are
already variations in lettering and paint schemes leading up to
the very popular advertising locomotives.

Pour répondre aux besoins des Chemins de fer de la Deutsche
Bahn AG en puissantes locomotives pour trains de marchan-
dises, ces machines furent commandées dès 1995. Siemens et
Krauss-Maffei continuèrent à développer la famille Euro-
Sprinter et présentèrent la nouvelle série 152. Par rapport à
l’EuroSprinter, l’équipement électrique fut réoptimisé et des
améliorations supplémentaires furent apportées au respect
de l’environnement. Comme l’affectation visée s’applique aux
trains de marchandises, une vitesse maximale de 140 km/h suffit
amplement. La puissance continue de 6,4 MW combinée avec
une masse de locomotive de 86 tonnes et une commande de
roues indépendantes permet de développer un énorme effort de
traction au démarrage égal à 300 kN.
En ce qui concerne la puissance, la BR152 est un cran au-
dessus de la BR 101. Conçue différemment, elle se révèle
nettement plus puissante. Dotée d’un équipement de conduite
en réversibilité, la BR 152 peut être utilisée pour la remorque de
trains de banlieue en cas de besoin. Compte tenu de son type de
fabrication, cette locomotive a par exemple la tâche légère en
tête d’un train régional composé de voitures à deux niveaux.
En dépit de la jeunesse relative de cette série, il existe déjà
diverses variantes au point de vue inscriptions et livrées, notam-
ment les populaires locomotives publicitaires.

Om de behoefte aan sterke goederentreinlocomotieven bij de
Deutsche Bahn AG af te dekken, werd deze machine reeds
in 1995 besteld. Siemens en Krauss-Maffei ontwikkelden de
EuroSprinter-familie verder en presenteerden de nieuwe serie
152. Hierbij werd ten opzichte van de EuroSprinter de elektrische
uitvoering nogmaals geoptimaliseerd en de milieuvriendelijkheid
verder vergroot. Omdat deze serie alleen voor goederentreinen
bedoeld is, is de maximum snelheid van 140 km/h ruim voldoen-
de. Het continu vermogen van 6,4 MW in combinatie met een
locmassa van 86 ton en eenasregeling resulteert in de geweldige
aanzetkracht van 300 kN.
Qua vermogen komt de BR 152 overeen met de BR 101. Door een
andere opbouw van de aandrijving heeft hij echter een duidelijk
krachtiger optrekvermogen. Door de ingebouwde keertrein-in-
richting kan de BR 152, indien noodzakelijk, ook in het reizigers-
buurtverkeer ingezet worden. Vanwege de bouwwijze heeft deze
locomotief dan ook geen enkele moeite met een regionale trein
bestaande uit dubbeldeksrijtuigen.
Ondanks het nog jonge verleden van deze bouwserie zijn er al
diverse kleur- en opschriftenvarianten tot en met de heden ten
dage zo populaire reclamelocs

Sicherheitshinweise

Nur Transformatoren verwenden, die Ihrer örtlichen

• Die Lok darf nur aus einer Leistungsquelle gleichzeitig
versorgt werden.
• Beachten Sie unbedingt die Sicherheitshinweise in der
Gebrauchsanleitung zu Ihrem Betriebssystem.
Die bei normalem Betrieb anfallenden Wartungsarbeiten sind
nachfolgend beschrieben. Für Reparaturen oder Ersatzteile
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Märklin-Fachhändler.
Jegliche Garantie-, Gewährleistungs- und Schadensersatzansprüche sind
ausgeschlossen, wenn in Märklin-Produkten nicht von Märklin freigege-
bene Fremdteile eingebaut werden und / oder Märklin-Produkte umgebaut
werden und die eingebauten Fremdteile bzw. der Umbau für sodann aufge-

Lokparameter einstellen mit der Control Unit
1. Voraussetzung: Aufbau wie Grafik S. 20.
Nur die zu verändernde Lok ist auf dem Gleis.
2. „Stop“- und „Go“-Taste gleichzeitig drücken, bis „99“
in der Anzeige aufblinkt.
3. „Stop“-Taste drücken.
4. Lokadresse „80“ eingeben.
5. Umschaltbefehl am Fahrregler halten. Während des
Haltens die „Go“-Taste drücken.
6. Licht der Lok blinkt langsam. Wenn nicht, ab Schritt 2
wiederholen.
7. Registernummer für den zu ändernden Parameter
eingeben (=> Liste auf Seite 22).
8. Fahrtrichtungswechsel betätigen.
9. Licht blinkt schnell
10. Neuen Wert eingeben (=> Liste auf Seite 22).
11. Fahrtrichtungswechsel betätigen.
12. Licht blinkt langsam (Ausnahme Werkreset)
13. Nächste Parametereinstellung ab 6. oder
beenden mit 14.
14. Vorgang beenden mit Drücken der „Stop“-
Taste. Anschließend Drücken der „Go“-Taste.
„Änderungen der Lokparameter im Decoder dürfen nur wie
beschrieben ausgeführt werden. Für darüber hinaus gehende
Änderungen, die zu Fehlverhalten oder Beschädigung des Deco-

Setting Locomotive Parameters with the Control Unit
1. Requirement: Setup as in diagram on page 20. Only
the locomotive to be changed can be on the track.
2. Press the “Stop” and “Go” at the same time until “99”
blinks in the display.
3. Press the “Stop” button.
4. Enter the locomotive address „80“.
5. Hold the control knob in the reverse direction area.
While holding the control knob here, press the „Go“
button.
6. The headlights on the locomotive will blink slowly. If
they don‘t, repeat Step 2.
7. Enter the register number for the parameter to be
changed (=> List on page 22).
8. Active the change of direction.
9. The headlights will blink rapidly.
10. Enter the new value (=>List on page 22).

Remarques importantes sur la sécurité

Réglage des paramètres de la loco avec la Control Unit
1. Condition: Montage comme sur illustration en page
20. Seule la loco à modifier peut se trouver sur la voie.

jusqu’à ce que le nombre „99“ clignote sur l’écran.
3. Pressez la touche „Stop“.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

• De loc mag niet vanuit meer dan één stroomvoorziening
gelijktijdig gevoed worden.
• Lees ook aandachtig de veiligheidsvoorschriften in de gebru-
iksaanwijzing van uw bedrijfssysteem.
De in het normale bedrijf voorkomende onderhoudswerkzaam-
heden zijn verderop beschreven. Voor reparatie of onderdelen
kunt u zich tot uw Märklin winkelier wenden.
Elke aanspraak op garantie en schadevergoeding is uitgesloten, wanneer
in Märklin-producten niet door Märklin vrijgegeven vreemde onderdelen
ingebouwd en / of Märklin-producten omgebouwd worden en de ingebou-
