CAUTION
Do not look directly into the beam. Lasers
must be kept out of reach of children. Never
intentionally aim the device at people. This is
a quality laser measuring device and is 100%
factory adjusted within the stated tolerance.
For reasons of product liability, we must
also draw your attention to the following:
Regularly check the calibration before use,
after transport and after extended periods
of storage. We also wish to point out that absolute calibration is only possible
in a specialist workshop. Calibration by yourself is only approximate and the
accuracy of the calibration will depend on the care with which you proceed.
WARNING
This is a precision instrument product which must be handled with care. Avoid
impacts and jarring. Store and transport the instrument in its case! All lasers off!
Clean with a soft cloth and glass cleaner.

UNPACKING
When unpacking the box, do not discard any packing materials until all of the
contents are accounted for:
a. Open the carton to locate the following:
• Flooring Laser
• 2 pcs 1.5V AA battery
• Operator’s manual
b. Carefully lift the flooring laser out of the carton and place it on a
stable, flat surface.

DESCRIPTION
KNOW YOUR FLOORING LASER
This ooring laser is a highly versatile tool designed for fast, easy operation.
The Flooring Level’s two laser lines make it the ideal instrument for all types of
alignment work on the oor. The two illuminated level vials can be used to level
the tool to project plumb lines on walls. The inboard, 90° try-square edge makes
it easy to align the rst oor tile.

OPERATION
1. INSERTING BATTERIES
Open the battery compartment (7) and
insert batteries according to the polarity
symbols. Be sure to pay attention to
polarity.
2. ON-FLOOR APPLICATIONS
Turn on the unit with the ON / Off switch
(1). The lasers now project two lines at a
90° angle onto the oor. These projected
lines allow tiles to be laid precisely. The 90° square edge (4) makes it easy to
align the rst oor tile.
NOTE:
If an uneven oor interrupts the laser lines, the tripod can be used to raise the
laser for better line projection onto the oor Use the level vials to adjust the
tripod levelling foot adjustments.
3. WALL APPLICATIONS
The laser beams also project very visible laser lines on walls. It is recommended
to use no more 10 feet from the wall. Level the instrument with its levelling feet
(5,6) according to the level vials (2). The level vials are back-lighted to guarantee
good visibility even in reduced ambient light.

MAINTENANCE
All maintenance should only be carried out by an authorized service organization.
This ooring laser has been designed to be a low-maintenance tool. However, in
order to maintain its performance, follow these steps.
a. HANDLE the tool with care. Treat it as a precision optical device, such as a
camera or binoculars.
b. AVOID exposing the tool to shock, continuous vibration or extreme hot or
cold temperatures.
c. STORE the tool indoors and in a safe place.
d. DO NOT immerse the laser in water.
e. Check the batteries regularly to avoid corrosion.REMOVE the batteries from
the tool if it is not going to be used for an extended period.
f. Always store the tool indoors.
g. Always keep the tool free of dust and liquids. Use only a clean, soft cloth for
cleaning. Avoid using any solvents.
h. After you have nished using the tool, always make sure that the switch is
in the off position.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The tool cannot be

Batteries are depleted. Replace with new
batteries.
Batteries are installed in
wrong polarity. Reinstall the batteries.

batteries.

3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This ooring laser is warranted to the original purchaser from the original
purchase date for two years, plus one additional year with product registration
at www.hammerheadtools.com (2+1), for a total three years subject to the
warranty coverage described herein.
Please retain your receipt.
This ooring laser is warranted to the original user to be free from defects in
material and workmanship. If you believe that the tool is defective at any time
during the specied warranty period, call HAMMERHEAD support at 1-877-
888-1880 to speak with a customer service agent. This warranty does not
cover: (1) Part failure due to normal wear or tool abuse (2) Any parts have been
altered or modied by anyone other than authorized HAMMERHEAD personnel.
This warranty excludes bits, bulbs and accessories. This warranty gives you
specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state.
