English – 5OperationThe ConnectModule requires a working GPS and mo-bile data connection in order to function.The ConnectModule incorporates movement sensors,a global satellite navigation system and mobile com-munications. These enable the ConnectModule toidentify suspicious movements of the eBike, establishthe location of the eBike and sound an alarm on thebicycle itself.Position and movement data is displayed to theowner of the eBike through the app eBike Flow.The ConnectModule provides additional services,such as <eBike Alarm>, which is available to the endcustomer in the app eBike Flow. More detailed infor-mation about the individual services of the app eBikeFlow can be found in the app itself.Charges apply for the use of some services. Detailscan be found in the app eBike Flow.Start-upAs soon as a ConnectModule is installed on an eBike,it can be activated through the app eBike Flow. Thisis only necessary once.Services such as the <eBike Alarm> can be activatedand used through the app eBike Flow.Depending on the operating system of thesmartphone, the eBike Flow app can bedownloaded free of charge from the AppleApp Store or Google Play Store.Scan the code with your smartphone to download theeBike Flow app.The services of the ConnectModule can be deacti-vated at any time through the app eBike Flow. Pro-vided the user has a valid activation, they will be ableto reactivate all services.There is no means of deactivating the ConnectModuleitself.Switching on/offThe ConnectModule does not need to be switched onor off separately.Provided the ConnectModule has a power supply andthe relevant services are activated, it will send data tothe bicycle owner.The ConnectModule has its own internal battery, soits services are not dependent on the eBike battery'sstate of charge. The charge level of the internal bat-tery can be viewed through the app eBike Flow. In theevent of damage or fault, contact an authorizeddealer directly.If services are not functioning despite being acti-vated, please get in direct contact with the bicycledealer from whom you bought the ConnectModule.If you hand over your eBike to a bicycle dealer formaintenance, it is recommended to temporarily deac-tivate the <eBike Lock> and <eBike Alarm> ser-vices. This will prevent alarms being falsely triggered.TransportWhenever you transport your eBike (e.g. in a cartrailer, on a train or plane, etc.), we recommend de-activating all the individual services or activating the<Transport mode>. This will then deactivate anycommunication from the ConnectModule.
