2.0 Installation
2.1 Pre aring for the installation
2.1.1 AC Power Line
NOTE: AVERY DENNISON requires that the minimum
electrical service be 10 Am s @ 115VAC or 6 Am s @
230VAC. This will allow the AVERY DENNISON SNAP 600
rinter, PC, and any additional su ort or service
equi ment to be lugged into the same service. It is
highly recommended that the rinter and its accessories
be on a dedicated circuit.
The electrical service suppl ing power to the AVERY DENNISON SNAP 600
printer or to peripheral equipment connected to the AVERY DENNISON SNAP
600 printer should meet standard electrical code practices, including proper
grounding and neutrals.
2.1.2 Location Considerations
The printer weighs 45 pounds (20.5 Kg) and requires a table of sufficient qualit
and strength to handle this load. The AVERY DENNISON SNAP 600 printer
requires an area with the approximate dimensions of 72" wide x 30" deep x 32"
high (1.8 m x 76 cm x 81 cm). The host PC (if used) and an printer options will
increase the required area. AVERY DENNISON recommends using an industrial
t pe worktable. Refer to Figure 1 below.
The AVERY DENNISON SNAP 600 printer is designed for eas operator
accessibilit to the printer controls and components. Select our AVERY
DENNISON SNAP 600 printer’s location to meet the following criteria:
1. Choose an area that maintains optimum flow of our product and allows for
the operator’s comfort. Consider the ph sical demands being placed on the
operator with respect to height of the table on which the printer will be
placed, the amount of space around the printer, and the operator’s
accessibilit to the printer. Refer to Figure 1.
2. While AVERY DENNISON has designed the printer to be reasonabl quiet,
select an area where repetitious noise from printing and cutting processes is
acceptable.
CAUTION: It is each customer’s res onsibility to make
sure that the workstation created for the AVERY
DENNISON SNAP 600 rinter meets the recommended
requirements to ensure o timal o eration of the rinter.
