3. HOW TO
3.1 CALIBRATE THE INSTRUMENT
To go to the calibration screen press to enter main menu,
then press repeatedly until you reach the Calibration item
and nally press to conrm.
1. Insert the nominal value: move with to the box with
numerical value, inside the box move to the desired digit with
then press until you reach the desired value.
2. Start measure: after setting the nominal value press
to move to start measure item then press to conrm.
3. Once the measurement has been taken, press to
conrm and go back to the main menu.
2. MAIN DISPLAY
In the gure you can see a typical instrument screen after the
switch-on se-quence:
Much of the screen is used, depending on the level we’re on, by
the measure-ment parameters list or by the menu items or by
options list. To the right side there are some system icons that
are always displayed in every screen: respectively from the top
there is the battery level icon, the bluetooth sta-tus icon and the
prole save mode icon.
If in the screen there is a vertical scrolling menu list, to the lower
right side the re-lated scrolling indicator, represented by two
little overlapped triangles, is dis-played: if the upper triangle
becomes grey it means that we are at the beginning of the list,
whereas if the lower triangle becomes grey it means that we
reached the end of the list.

3.2 SELECTING PARAMETERS AND RELATIVE
TOLERANCES
To access the parameter selection screen, press to move to
the main menu and then press several times until you reach
the Parametri (Parameters) option, then press to conrm.
The following screen appears:
The parameters that can be displayed are indicated with an
icon while those that cannot be displayed are indicated
with an icon.
To access the screen for setting the parameter options, use
to move to the required parameter and then press to
conrm.
The following screen appears:
To enable / disable a parameter, use to move to the
icon and then press .
To enable / disable the tolerance check, use to move to
the checkbox on the left indicated by Toll and then press .
To set the upper and lower tolerance limits, use to move
to the numerical elds, and then use again to move to the
digit that you wish to modify inside the eld. Lastly, press
until you reach the required value.
Then press to return to the main menu.

3.3 TAKING MEASUREMENTS
To make sure that the measurement parameters are correct,
use to move from the main menu to the relative settings
screen by selecting the Set misura (Measurement set-up)
option and press to conrm.
The following screen appears:
1. Selecting the measurement standard. Use to move to
the Norma (Standard) option and then press to conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. It is also possible to select the unit of measure if you
select the ISO 4287 standard. In this case, use to move
to the required unit of measure and press to conrm.
Then press to return to the main menu.
2. Selecting the cut-off length (ISO 4287).
Use to move to the L. cut-off option, then press to
conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is displayed in larger
characters compared to the other values.
Then press to return to the main menu.

3. Selecting the number of cut-offs (ISO 4287).
Use to move to the N° cut-off option, then press to
conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is displayed in larger
characters compared to the other values.
Then press to return to the main menu.
4. Selecting the length of the stroke (ISO 12085).
Use to move to the L Mis option, then press to
conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is displayed in larger
characters compared to the other values.
Then press to return to the main menu.
5. Selecting the measurement start delay.
Use to move to the Ritardo (Delay) Option then press
to conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is indicated by the cursor
at the bottom.
Then press to return to the main menu.

6. Selecting automatic return after the measurement has
been taken. Use to move to the Ritorno (Return) option,
then press to conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. Then press to return to the main menu.
In order to make sure that the tip of the feeler is in the correct
position, from the main menu use to move to the relative
control screen by selecting the Posizione (Position) option
and pressing to conrm.
The following screen appears:
Then press to return to the main menu. After carrying out
all the operations, press to return to the home screen,
then press again to start measuring.
3.4 DISPLAYING THE RESULTS
The measurement results screen is displayed automatically
after each reading has been taken. If the results of a reading
have already been loaded into memory and you are on a
different screen, press several times until the results
screen is displayed. If only one parameter has been enabled,
the following screen will be displayed:

If 2 parameters have been enabled, the following screen will
be displayed:
If 3 or more parameters have been enabled, the following
screen will be displayed:
3.5 SELECTING THE LANGUAGE
To access the language selection screen, press to go to
the main menu, then press several times until you reach
the Sistema (System) option, then press to conrm.
The following screen appears:

IT To access the language selection screen, press several
times until you reach the Lingua (Language) option, then press
to conrm.
The following screen appears:
Press several times until you reach the required language,
then press to conrm.
When nished, press twice to return to the main menu.
3.6 ENABLING - DISABLING THE BLUETOOTH
To access the Bluetooth connection screen, press to go
to the main menu, then press several times until you reach
the Sistema (System) option, then press to conrm.
The following screen appears
To enable/disable the Bluetooth, press until you reach the
Bluetooth option then press to conrm.
The Bluetooth is active when the checkbox next to the text is
checked, if it is not active, the checkbox will be empty.
