The water meter may only be installed or replaced by trained

specialists for sanitary, heang and air-condioning technology�

Intended use

Water meters are used to record the drinking water

consumpon, depending on the version for cold or warm

water� Other cases of applicaon that deviate from these

specicaons must be approved of in wring by

Water meters are exclusively intended for the above-meno-

ned funcon� The conversion and any use of the water meters

dierent or beyond this is considered improper use and

therefore not permied�

Warranty is only eecve aer compliance with these

regulaons and the applicable technical rules has been proven�

XFor the period of use, observe all applicable naonal regula-

ons and in parcular the calibraon regulaon�

XDuring installaon, observe all specicaons according to

DIN EN 806 and DIN 1988, especially hygiene regulaons and

ambient temperatures�

XObserve the nominal operang condions according to the

type examinaon cercate and informaon on the devices�

XKeep these instrucons close to the meter�

Safety notes and hazard warnings

Improper assembly, pressure tests, modicaons or incorrect

operaon can cause personal injury and damage to property�

XIf the seal is damaged or removed, the water meter is no longer

licenced for legal metering�

XCheck water meter for transport damage before installaon�

XDo not drop, never hold by the protecve cover or counter�

XIf the water meter has fallen down, it must not be installed

anymore�

Pressure shocks in the pipe may damage the meter!

Present air pockets falsify the measurement result�

XOnly use KTW/TVO compliant lubricants that are suitable for

EPDM gaskets�

XWater meters may only be installed aer a pressure test�

XWater meters may only be installed in pipes that have already

been leak-tested, ushed and vented and they must be well

vented before commissioning�

XMake sure that the water meter is always lled with water�
