TheFT-1000SeriesLevelGaugeconsistsofaleveldetectingfloat,
transmittingparts(tape,guideelbow,etc.)andtheinstrumentbody.
Theindicatorbodycomprisesthesprocketpulley,tapewinding
pulley,constanttorquespring,gearmachanism,pointerandscale
plate.Whenatransmitterisprovidedforthelevelgauge,thetrans-
mitterisconnectedtothesprocketpulleyshaftoftheindicatorbody
throughthecouplingmechanism.
Thefloatiskeptafloatonthesurfaceoftheliquidwithaconstant
draftline,andfollowsanychangesintheliquidlevel.Thefloatis
connectedtoatapewindingpulley-throughthestainlesssteeltape,
whichispunchedatregularintervals.Theconstanttorquespringis
incorporatedinthetapewindingpulleyinordertoapplyaconstant
torqueinthetapewindingdirection.Thisconstanttorqueisbal-
ancedwiththeweightofthefloatonthesurfaceoftheliquid.
Whenthefloatrisesandlowers,accordingtothechangeinthe
liquidlevel,thetapewhichisinterlockedwiththefloatrotatesthe
sprocketpulley,whichinturnisengagedwiththepunchedtape.
Therotationcorrespondstotheupwardordownwardmovementof
thefloat.Thus,anychangeintheleveloftheliquidisconvertedto
thechangeintherotationangleofthesprocketpulleyshaft.
Thisrotationangleofsprocketpulleyistransferredtotransmitter
unit,i.e.Microswitchalarm,pneumatic,electric,digitalBCDetc.

IntheFP-1000SeriesLevelGauge,thevaporandgasinthetank
aresealedwiththesealpipeandcannotgetintothelevelgauge.
Therefore,thesystemisnotonlycovenientbutsuitabletomeasure
theliquidleveloftanksthatcontainaliquid,liquifiedgasorany
otherhightemperatureliquidthatcangeneratepoisonous,corrosive
orinflammablegasesandodor.Inaddition,thesystemisexcellent
inthatitisnon-corrosive,safeandiseasytomaintain.
IntheFPSeries,theindicatorbodyoftheFT-1000levelgaugefor
lowpressueisused,andasealpipemadeofanon-magnetic
materialisinsertedandfixedinthetank.Thedoughnut-shapedfloat
risesandlowers,withtheaidofthesealpipeasguide,accordingto
thechangeintheliqudlevel.Thefloatcontainsamainmagnet,and
afollowngmagnetwithaslidingrollerisarrangedinthesealpipe.
Thefollowingmagnetisconnectedtothelocallevelindicatorsame
toFT-1000levelgaugebymeansofameasuringtapeinorderto
transmitthechangeintheliquidlevel;tothelevelindicator,which
indicatestheliquidlevel.Ifatransmitterisequipped,theliquidlevel;
canbetransmittedtoaremotecontrolroom.
