Technical Specifications
The Lovibond®PTV Series Turbidimeter is available in four versions, one ISO and three
US EPA compliant versions. The PTV 1000 IR displays turbidity values in FNU units and
is compliant to ISO method 7027. The PTV 1000 WL, PTV 2000 and PTV 6000 are EPA
approved methods and display turbidity values in NTU units. Approval information for the
PTV 1000 WL, PTV 2000 and PTV 6000 are referenced in Federal Register / Vol. 82, No 143
/ Thursday, July 27, 2017 / Rules and Regulations, 34861 – 34868.
