The Duomel extractor is the ideal tool for
beekeepers who have between 5 and 20 hives.
All options considered, the Duomel fulfils 3
functions in a single unit: extractor (1), filter and
maturing tank (2).
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION : (electric models)
Before connecting the appliance to a power supply, make sure that your electric
installations comply with current standards (differential circuit breaker protection,
earth wire, etc.).
Check the supply voltage.
Before using the unit for the first time, clean it to remove any residual metal shavings
or filings.
Secure the machine to the ground (the optional feet have holes for this purpose). Make
sure that the extractor cage is as well balanced as possible when loading the frames:
always maintain symmetry according to the central axis.
Do not open the lid (5) when the appliance is running.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES
The Duomel extractor allows you to extract easily and quickly honey from frames.
It is easily adaptable in tangential or radial mode, according to the honey that must be extracted
and can be electrified with a 1/2 motor lid (3).
After having extracted, filtered and maturated, the Duomel can also be used as a filter.
The Duomel extractor is entirely made of stainless-steel and has a silent helicoidal gear.
The maturing tank outlet has a « Perfection » tap (4) so as to ease the honey drain.
The whole system has a 1/2 transparent lid (5) allowing surveillance of the extraction progress.
The upper tank is fixed to the maturing tank with 2 toggle locks, offering optimal stability to the
whole structure. A filter between these two parts stops the biggest impurities.
The machine can be delivered with a set of feet: Option ref. 7150

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: For the electric version, unplug the machine before any maintenance.
Be sure to protect the electrical parts of the machine when cleaning.
Clean with hot water, dry thoroughly by running the empty machine.
The Radianox is a seasonal equipment but must be operated regularly throughout the year, at
least a few minutes per month (electric version only).
Store preferably in a dry room with the tap open.
It is necessary to regularly retighten the fixing nuts of the two radial crowns to ensure that the
lower crown is not in contact with the bottom of the cage.
The center plate, located at the base of the rotating axis, may wear out over time: it may then be
useful to change it.

The center plate is made of a plastique gasket, tightened by a nut beneath the transversal
bar. It is accessible by unlocking the maturing tank. In the plastique hull, there is a marble
and a plastique cover. They must be changed if they are worn out.
