PATRIOT™ DB
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Congratulations on your purchase of the PATRIOT DB!
The following seven steps will guide you in installing your system in just a few minutes.
Turn PC Power Off
STEP ONE: Open your PC
STEP TWO: Remove the 5.25 inch face plate
from the front of your PC, and then remove one
of the expansion slot covers on the back.
STEP THREE: Insert the PATRIOT DB into a
drive bay slot and secure using either the screws
provided by Polhemus or the plastic inserts
provided by the PC manufacturer
STEP FOUR: Plug the PC power and the USB
cable in to the back of the PATRIOT.

NOTE: If the power plug from the PC doesn’t
match the PATRIOT Molex plug, please use the
SATA to Molex Power Adapter provided.
STEP FIVE: Insert the USB cable through the
expansion slot and plug directly into one of your
PC’s USB ports.
STEP SIX: Close and power up your PC.
STEP SEVEN: Insert your PATRIOT
installation software tool kit and manual CD and
follow prompts for installation of new hardware
and Polhemus software and manual.
