Mastering the Art of Measurement (CL201 Clamp Meter) r.00 www.plusivo.com

Introduction
In this guide, you are going to learn how to measure AC and DC voltage, AC current,
resistance, diodes, capacitance, frequency, NCV measurement, temperature and continuity test
using a clamp meter. We are going to study some basic concepts like Ohm's Law and
Kirchhoff's Law. Please note that product color may slightly vary due to photographic lighting
sources or your monitor settings.
Let’s get started!
1. Overview
1.1 Versions of the clamp meter
The CL201 NCV clamp meter series includes 4 models, they are named CL201A,
CL201B, CL201C and CL201D. These clampmeters support RMS measurements and they
have a frequency response range up to 2 KHz.
The versions that we will be discussing in this book are the CL201A and CL201D clamp meters.
