Product warranty
The MXD70 Series has a arranty against defects in materials and orkmanship for three
years from the date of shipment. During this period LTH ill, at its o n discretion, either
repair or replace products that prove to be defective. The associated soft are is provided
‘as is’ ithout arranty.
Limitation of warranty
The foregoing arranty does not cover damage caused by accidental misuse, abuse,
neglect, misapplication or modification.
No arranty of fitness for a particular purpose is offered. The user assumes the entire risk of
using the product. Any liability of LTH is limited exclusively to the replacement of defective
materials or orkmanship.

FOLLOWED CORRECTLY. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN AN ELECTRICALLY HAZARDOUS
INSTALLATION OR IRREPARABLE DAMAGE TO THE INSTRUMENT.
The MXD70 Series uses a high quality backlit 3¾” QVGA LCD to display the channel readings and
settings. This is accompanied by 5 control buttons hose function varies depending upon hich
screen the user is vie ing. The button function is indicated by the control section at the bottom of the
display. Also present are six Setpoint Status LEDs that hen illuminated indicate hich setpoint / relay
is active. Located bet een the setpoint LEDs there are t o Alarm Status LEDs hich provide clear
indication of a fault ithin the instrument.
The Front Screen
The MXD70 Series front screen has the capability of sho ing up to three sensor input channels. Each
channel sho s the main sensor reading and t o secondary readings hich can be customised to the
users requirement. If only one channel is displayed on the front screen then the ability to sho up to
t o current output trends becomes available. Alternatively a current outputs trend screen is available.

Front Screen Trends Current Output Trends
The Menu System
When the instrument is s itched on it ill complete a configuration check that ill take approximately
60 seconds after this it ill default to the front screen. The user interface is arranged in t o ays, the
first is a quick configuration overvie hich is accessible by scrolling left or right from the front screen
as sho n belo .
Scrolling Menu Layout
The second menu is accessible by pressing the menu button on the front screen. This then brings up
the main menu from hich the user can access the instruments settings.
The main menu is split into t o main sections. The top sho s the current time & date, the unit status
and the instrument’s current readings. The bottom section sho s the current options for that menu
hich may be selected by moving the cursor ith the arro buttons and pressing the enter button.
The exit button is used to return to the previous menu or alternatively if held do n for 3 seconds ill
take the instrument straight back to the front screen. If no buttons are pressed after 2 minutes the
instrument ill default back to the front screen. To the right of the menu screen arro s ill indicate if
there are further menu pages above or belo the current one.

When changing a setting an option pop-up ill appear from hich the user can select an option or
alternatively enter in a value. Note hen looking at a list of options an arro in the top right or bottom
right corner of the pop-up indicates further options above or belo the ones currently sho n.
