Thanks for purchasing our FiT031 Professional Fuel Cell Alcohol Analyzer. FiT031 gives you a precision digital
indication of your breath alcohol content and thus your possible concentration of intoxication. To achieve the high
accuracy, user should study this manual carefully. And any use of the FiT031 requires full understanding and strict
observation of these instructions.
Basic Scientific Principles
Fuel Cell sensor is using the electrochemical reaction for platinum against ethanol molecules, gives the most stable
and reliable measuring technology.
Declaration: This manual should be read before use.
Brief description
This model is a quick alcohol screening instrument. Using quick screening test mode，to judge a person whether
drinking or not. After each test, need to rest for 1~3 minutes and make sure no residue left.
Operation
1. Turn on/off
Press "OK" key for about 3 seconds and the machine will turn on automatically. ”Please Blow” flashes on the
display (as fig. 1), and blow toward the chamber for 1~2 second to achieve a success sampling.

Press "OK" key about 3s to turn off the machine manually.
Auto power off: When the machine is not been pressed any key for 5 minutes, it will power off automatically to
save the battery.
2. Test Instruction
2.1 Active test
Blow into the gas chamber about 2cm away from your mouth
2.2 Passive test
Press the “OK” key while the tested person speak toward to the machine’s chamber, then the machine will
analyze the breath sampling automatically (see Fig. 2-Fig. 4 below).

2.2 Test Result
2.2.1 If set the display format as qualitative mode:
i when the test result is lower than 0.150‰BAC:
“Low” with green backlight will display on the LCD.
ii when the test result is higher than 0.150‰BAC:
Then “HI” with red backlight will display on the LCD.

2.2.2 If set the display format as quantitative mode:
i When the test result is lower than 0.150‰BAC:
“0.000%o BAC” with green backlight will display on the LCD.
ii When the test result is higher than 0.150‰BAC:
Then digital readings with red backlight will show on the LCD.

2.3 Re –test
Press the “OK” key to enter into next test while the last test result show on the LCD. See picture below.

3. System settings
Press the “up” & “down” key together for a few minutes and enter into the setting menu, then press the “up” key or
“down” key to choose the corresponding menu and press the “OK” key to confirm the corresponding settings.
3.1 Test Record
Select “RECORD” menu and press “OK” key to enter into the record mode, then can review the test records by
pressing the “up” & “down” key. Nearly about 50 test records.

3.2 Display Format
Select the “DISPLAY FORMAT” menu and press the “OK” key to enter into the display setting format, you can
choose the “QUALITATIVE” . Press the “OK” key to set as qualitative display mode.
Choose the “QUANTITATIVE” and press the “OK” key to set as quantitative display mode.
UNIT: select “mg/100mlBAC” or “mg/lBrAC” or “‰BAC” and press “OK” key to confirm.

3.3 Time settings
Select “TIME&DATE” menu, and press the “up” & “down” key to adjust the date and time, press the “OK” key to
confirm. See picture below.

Caution: the “CALIBRATION” setting has password control, only our authorized service centre can process the
calibration.
Liability for proper function or damage
Never unscrew the FiT031. Warranty not valid if any screws had being loosened or warranty label had being broken.
Serviced or repaired by personnel not employed by FiT Service centre or authorized by FiT or if the instrument is
used in a manner not conforming to its intended use.
Maintenance
Repair/maintenance of the FiT031 should only be carried out by trained technician from authorized FiT professional
breath alcohol tester Service Center.
Only authentic FiT spare parts can be used for maintenance.
