Introduction
We are pleased that you have purchased this product from econ solutions and are confi-
dent that you have made the right decision in choosing this product.
Your econ sens+ / econ sens+ pro from econ solutions consists of mounted and tested
mechanical and electronic components. For operation in accordance with regulations
please pay heed to the technical data and ensure correct installation
Important Tests
All products undergo comprehensive safety and performance testing before they are
shipped. Nevertheless, you must perform at least the following:
Please ensure that the device has survived transport without damage.
Before you connect the device and switch it on, you must check the operating voltage
on the basis of the relevant technical data.
We assume no responsibility for parts that have been destroyed as a result of in-
correct operating voltages!

Defects:
If the econ sens+ / econ sens+ pro does not start up properly once the operating voltage is
applied and if the “Log”LED does not light up red, please re-disconnect the device from the
supply voltage. If this does not remedy the defect you can find more information and sup-
port at www.econ-solutions.de or contact us by e-mail (econ-sens@econ-solutions.de).
Safety information:
When working on the device, e.g. during service, disconnect the power! Installation may
only be performed by appropriately trained technical staff!

Operation and installation
Connect the econ sens+ to the power supply as shown in Fig. 1. When installing the
Rogowski coils please ensure that they are mounted in the correct direction, as depicted on
the coils themselves.
Connect the econ sens+ / econ sens+ pro to your PC via the network cable. Enter the IP-
address 192.168.0.1 in your web browser to access the econ sens+ / econ sens+ pro
web interface. When the appliance to be measured is switched on, the measured data
(voltage, current, output…) should be visible in the “Meter” menu.

Warranty conditions
Warranty period
2 years as of delivery date.
Extent of warranty and handling of warranty claims
Malfunctions that are due to faulty workmanship and/or material defects will be fixed within
the warranty period at no charge. Further claims, in particular any pertaining to secondary
damage, are excluded.
In the event of a justified claim, please return the product to our attention. To make a war-
ranty claim, please preferably enclose an accurate description of the malfunction and re-
turn the product in its original packaging, insured and postage-free, to our attention.
Warranty exclusion
Damage and malfunctions that are caused by failure to comply with our user information as
well as drop, shock, contamination or other abnormal handling are not covered by the war-
ranty. Warranty claims expire if the product is not subjected to a safety and performance
check as described in the “Important tests” section directly after it has been unpacked, or if
abnormal interventions are performed or if the serial number is changed or rendered un-
recognizable.
WEEE Directive
This product was produced in compliance with the EU directive 2002/96/EG on waste elec-
trical and electronic equipment and the transposition thereof into the German Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). Products that are no longer used can be returned to
us, where they will be disposed of in a professional manner.
