RRampMeter
V1 to V2 or V3 Upgrade Guide
V1 to V2 Upgrade Kit Contents:
•Enclosure
•Face Plate
•Clip Leads
•Screws
•Pre-Cut Wires
V3 Upgrade Kit Also Contains:
•Switch
•9 Volt Battery Clip
V1 to V2 or V3 Step 1:
Solder all four pre-cut wires to the terminals inside the enclosure.

V1 to V2 Step 2:
Connect each wire to its respective terminal at J6, J7, J8, and J9 through the back of the board. Solder
the wires from the front of the board and clip away any excess wire.
V1 to V2 Step 3:
Press the board into the enclosure and press fit the face plate on top. It will snap into place.

V1 to V2 Step 4:
Screw all four screws into the holes in the back of the enclosure until they are hand tight. This
completes the V1 to V2 upgrade.
V1 to V3 Step 2:
Locate S1 on the front of the board. Using a wick, remove the excess solder and the small bar that
bridges the two terminals.

V1 to V3 Step 3:
Fit the three prong switch into the terminals at S1 and solder it in place from the back of the board.
The two holes to the left of S1 are where the 9 Volt battery clip attaches. Thread the black wire into the
round hole and the red wire into the square hole. Solder these in place from the front of the board and
clip off any excess wire.
V1 to V3 Step 4:
Attach a 9 Volt battery to the battery clip and use the switch to turn the RRampMeter on to test it. If
both the red and green lights turn on and voltage and current readings display, then it is good to go.

V1 to V3 Step 5:
Place the 9 Volt battery into the enclosure, tuck the wires in around it, and press the board onto the
enclosure. Press fit the face plate into place and complete assembly by hand tightening the four screws
into the back of the enclosure.
