1.2GettingtoKnowYourCamera



FrontView



Internal Microphone

allows the camera to

receive sound and voice.

Infrared LEDs (optional)

allows your camera to

capture clear image in a

dark environment.

Lens

Light Sensor

is used to trigger on and

off the Infrared LEDs

according the

environmental light level.

USB Port allows you

to connect an external USB

device.

It provides the power

distribution up to 500mA.

Power LED indicates

the camera is powered

on with the steady

amber light.

Link LED indicates

the camera’s network

connectivity with the

flashing green light.

WPS button allows you

connect to your encrypted

Wireless network with a

press of a button



Antenna

Screw Hole is used

to connect the camera

stand.

Audio-out Connector

is used to connect an

external active speaker.

Reset Button will restart

the camera when it is

pressed quickly; when it is

long pressed for five

seconds, the camera will

resume the factory default

settings.

DC Power Connector

is used to connect the

AC power adapter, in

order to supply power

to the camera.

Ethernet Cable Connector

is used to connect the network

cable, which supports the Auto-

MDIX so that the camera can

detect the network speed

automatically.

dual‐codecselectabletechnology,allowingyoutoadjustimagesize

andquality,andbitrateaccordingtothenetworkingenvironment.

2‐wayAudioCapability

Thebuilt‐inmicrophoneofthecameraprovideson‐the‐spotaudiovia

theInternet,allowingyoutomonitortheon‐sitevoice.Inaddition,

youcanconnectanexternalspeakertothecameratospeakthrough

thecamera;thecameraisembeddedwithanechocancellation

processortoprovideabettersoundquality.

Day&NightSurveillanceSupported(optional)

ThesixInfraredLEDsaroundthestandardlensenablethecamerato

capturecrystalclearimagesinthedarkenvironmentoratnight.When

theLightSensordetectstheenvironmentallightlevelbecomeslow,

thecameracapturestheimagesinblack&whitemodeusingthese

infraredLEDs.

SupportsMultipleProfiles

Thecamerasupportsmultipleprofilessimultaneously,sothatyoucan

separatelysetupdifferentimagesettings(suchasimagequalityand

framerate)forthethreevideotypesofthecamera:MPEG4,MJPEG,

and3GPP.

ByusingastandardWebbrowserorthebundledSecurViewPro

softwareapplication,theadministratorcaneasilychangethe

configurationofthecameraviaIntranetorInternet.Inaddition,the

cameracanbeupgradedremotelywhenanewfirmwareisavailable.

Theusersarealsoallowedtomonitortheimageandtakesnapshots

viathenetwork.

SupportsConnectiontotheExternalDevices

WiththeauxiliaryInput/Outputconnectors,youcanconnectthe

cameratoavarietyofexternaldevices,suchastheexternalspeaker
