Einleitung Die Steuerplatine ist füralle SIKOSTART-Motorsteuergeräte 3RW34/35 mit

Bemessungsströmen von 35 bis 960 A und fürdie Motorsteuergeräte Klasse 91,Modell

2000 & 2000+ mit Bemessungsströmen von 36 bis 960 A geeignet.DerAustauschbausatz

enthält 1 Steuerplatine.

EGB-Maßnahmen Die Leiterplatten (PCB) im Motorsteuergerät

sind empfindlich gegen elektrostatische

Entladungen.Bei Wartungsarbeiten sind vom

Personal EGB-Erdungsschutzmaßnahmen

vorzunehmen.Wenn keine geeigneten EGB-

Schutzmaßnahmen getroffen werden,kann

dies zu sofortigerZerstörung derLeiterplatten

oderzu einerVerkürzung ihrerLebensdauer

führen.

Um sicherzustellen,daß im Gerät keine Spannung ansteht,ist eine Spannungskontrolle

vorzunehmen.Das Unterlassen dieserSicherheitsmaßnahmen kann zu Lebensgefahroder

Wartungsarbeiten die Netzspannung und die

Steuerspannung abzuschalten.

Austausch derSteuerplatine

Hinweis

Sobald sichergestellt ist,daß keine Spannung anliegt,gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

BevorSie die Steuerleitungen von derKlemmenleiste derSteuerplatine abnehmen,notieren

Sie sich unbedingt die Nummern derAderendhülsen und ihre Anschlußstellen.Schließen Sie

diese Leitungen bei derneuen Steuerplatine an die gleichen Klemmen an.Die Steuerplatine

wird von einerSchraube und von den Nuten in derPlattenführung gehalten.

1Entfernen Sie die vierBefestigungsschrauben derAbdeckplatte.

2Nehmen Sie die Abdeckplatte ab.

3Die auszuwechselnde Steuerplatine befindet sich rechts; es ist die Leiterplatte

mit den Justierpotentiometern und derLED.

4Entfernen Sie die Halteschraube derSteuerplatine.

5Ziehen Sie die Steuerplatine langsam so weit aus dem Gerät heraus,bis die

roten Leitungen sichtbarwerden,die mit Steckanschlüssen an die Steuerplatine

angeschlossen sind.Diese Leitungen sind die Stromversorgung des Lüfters.

Ziehen Sie diese Leitungen ab und kennzeichnen Sie sie,um sicherzustellen,

daß sie auf derneuen Steuerplatine an die identischen Kontakte angeschlossen

werden.

6Ziehen Sie den Flachleitungssteckervon derSteuerplatine ab und notieren Sie,

an welchem Gegensteckererangeschlossen war,um auf derneuen

Steuerplatine den gleichen Gegensteckerzu finden.

7Schieben Sie die neue Steuerplatine teilweise in die Nuten derPlattenführung

ein.Die Platine muß ordnungsgemäß in die zugehörige Nut eingelegt werden.

8Schließen Sie die beschrifteten roten Leitungen an die zugehörigen Kontakte

derSteuerplatine an (vgl.Schritt No.5).

9Schieben Sie nach dem Anschließen derroten Leitungen die Steuerplatine bis

zum Anschlag ein.

10Schließen Sie die Flachbandleitung wiederan den Gegensteckeran.Achten Sie

auf das vollständige Einrasten! (Manche Ausführungen haben 3 Flach-

leitungsstecker.)

11Schließen Sie die Steuerleitungen wiederan die richtigen Klemmen der

Klemmenleiste an.

12Befestigen Sie die Steuerplatine mit derHalteschraube.

13Setzen Sie die Abdeckung wiederauf.

14Legen Sie die Spannung an das Steuergerät wiederan.

Replacement Main Logic Board

3RW34,35

Introduction The replacement main logic board covers all SIKOSTART 3RW34/35 model controllers with

current ratings of 35 to 960 A and class 91 2000 & 2000+ model controllers with ratings of

36 to 960 A.The replacement kit includes one main logic board.

ESD Information

The printed circuit boards (PCB) in the soft

start controllerare sensitive to Electrostatic

Discharge (ESD).Use ESD grounding proce-

dures between service technicians and the

controllerPCB.Failure to take appropriate

ESD protection measures can destroy the

PCB immediately orshorten theiruseful life.

NOTE

A check forvoltage should be made to insure that no voltage exists in the unit.Failure to

take these safety measures could result in personal injury ordeath.OurTechnical

main and control voltages before performing

installation ormaintenance.

Replacement Of The

Main Logic Board

NOTE

Aftermaking sure no voltage is present,take the following steps:

Before you disconnect the control wires from the Logic Board terminal strip,make sure you

record the wire markernumbers and locations.Reconnect these wires to the same terminals

on the new board.This board is held with one screw and grooves in the card guide.

1Remove the fourscrews holding the coverplate.

2Remove the coverplate.

3The Logic Board to be replaced is on the right; it is the board with the

adjustment potentiometers and LED light.

4Remove the screw holding the Logic Board in place.

5Slowly slide the board out of the unit to a point where you can see the red

wires that are attached to the board with push-on terminals.These wires power

the fan.Disconnect these wires,tagging them,so that they will go on the

same terminals on the new board.

6Disconnect the ribbon connectorfrom the board,noting which receptacle it

came from so that you can replace it in the same receptacle on the new board.

7Slide the new board part of the way into the grooves of the card guide.The

board must be correctly placed into the appropriate groove.

8Connect the tagged red wires to theirappropriate terminals on the board.

9Afterconnecting the red wires,continue to slide the board until it bottoms out.

10Reconnect the ribbon to the terminal - make sure it is firmly in place.(Some

models will have three ribbon connectors.)

11Reconnect the control wires to the correct position on the terminal strip.

12Secure the board with the holding screw.

13Replace the coverbefore energizing controller.

14Re-energize the controller.
