- The NCE883MLBT contains no user repairable parts. Please do not attampt to repair this unit yourself,
use only reputable service agent.
- Some File Types may not be supported. If you have any troubles with playback, please refer to the
troubleshooting page in this instruction manual.
- If the battery is disconnected all presets and clock will be lost.
- Turn down the volume prior to switching off the unit, sudden volume spikes can damage
speakers.
- If the unit has been in the sun for extended periods of time, please allow the unit to cool down
prior to using.
Remote Control

In power off mode press to turn the unit on, long press to turn the unit off.
With the unit on, press to move through the various modes, Radio, USB, SD, AUX 1, AUX 2, BT.
Note that USB, SD will only display if the media device is present / inserted.
In USB, SD/MMC, BT audio streaming press the Forward button to move forward 1 track press and
hold to move forward 10 track at a time.
In radio mode push to automatically scan the next station, long press to manually move forward (this
feature will help tune in weaker stations).
3. Backwards
In USB, SD/MMC, BT audio streaming press to move backwards 1 track, press and
hold to move backwards 10 tracks at a time.
In radio mode push to automatically scan the previous station, long press to manually move backwards
(this feature will help tune in weaker stations).

4. Panel detach
Press to detach the front panel.
5. Band
In radio mode press to move through the radio bands, F1(FM1), F2(FM2), F3(FM3), A1(AM1)
A2(AM2) in a cycle sequence.
6. Channel +
In radio mode push to move up through the preset radio stations.
In SD/MMC and USB mode press to move forward through folders.
7. Channel -
In radio mode push to move down through the preset radio stations.
In SD/MMC and USB mode press to move back through folders.
8. Volume knob
In all modes turn knob clockwise to increase the volume and anticlockwise to decrease the volume.
Press to enter sound adjustment mode, VOL, BAL (balance), FAD (fader), LOUDNESS, EQ. In the
sound adjustment mode turn the knob clockwise and anticlockwise to adjust.
9. LCD screen
The LCD panel will display all the relevant information.
10. AUX input
Use a 3.5mm auxiliary jack to plug in other sources such as iPod, MP3 player etc or Use a RCA
Cable to plug in other sources such as TV via Rear AUX 2
11. SD/MMC card slot
Insert a SD/MMC card until you hear the click to play data stored on card (note some File Types may
not be supported.)
To remove, push in until you hear the click and release.
12. USB slot
Insert a USB stick to play data stored on the USB (note some File Types may
not be supported.)
To remove simply pull out.

RESET
Remove the detachable panel to expose the reset button insert a long pin for 3 seconds to reset all
parameters to factory default values.

Programming Clock
In radio mode press and hold the Volume (8) button until clock is displayed let go and long press again
until the hour starts to flash, use the Volume (8) knob clockwise and anticlockwise to adjust, short press
the volume (8) button again to make the minutes flash, use Volume (8) clockwise and anticlockwise to
adjust minutes long press volume (8) button when complete.
Programming Bluetooth
To connect to Bluetooth use the MOD/PWR (1) button to go to BT, the word BT will flash. Use the device
you wish to find the NCE883MLBT and click on connect, the word BT will stop flashing and you are
ready to use Bluetooth audio streaming.
Programming radio stations
In radio mode
•Use the forward (2) and backward (3) buttons to lock into the desired radio station
•Press and hold the Channel+ (6) or Channel - (7) until the storage location number flashes
•Use Channel+ (6) or Channel - (7) to choose the location you wish to store in.
•Press the Volume (8) button to Store.

Installation Procedures
Installation Opening
First complete the electrical connections and then check for correctness.

Insert mounting sleeve into the wall panel and bend
the mounting tabs out with a screwdriver.
Make sure that the lock lever (Fig 1) is flush with the
mounting sleeve (not projecting outward)

This unit can be installed in any Cavity
having an opening as shown above.
We recomend the panel thickness
should be a Minimum of 6mm and a
Maximum of 25mm in order to support
the unit.

A lot of static in
broadcast
If you suspect something is wrong, immediately switch power o. Do not use the unit in
abnormal conditions, for example without sound, or with smoke or foul smell, this could
cause re or electric shock. Immediately remove and call the place where you purchased it.
Never try to repair the unit yourself because it is dangerous to do so or you may void your
product warranty.
- Power is not on > Ensure there is power to the unit
- Cable is not correctly connected > Check connection
- Fuse is burnt > Replace fuse
- Check Volume or Mute is on/o
- Station or signal is too weak > Remote or Regional locations
can result in weak/low signal strength
- Select other stations of stronger signal level
- Check aerial connection
- Unit is not correctly connected to power
- Power to unit has been disconnected or switched o
- USB or SD Card connection is not good > Take it out
and insert again
- USB or SD Card is damaged or no music le inside >
Change to another USB or SD Card, or add les to it
- File type is not supported
- File may be corrupted or Damaged

Repair, Return & Refund Policy
Aboutourpolicy
At NCE we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. We therefore recommend
that you read be familiar with our Repair, Return and Refund Policy and our NCE General Terms and
Conditions of Trade.
NCE offer a product warranty guarantee of 12 months (one year) to the original purchaser from the time
of purchase. Goods at the time of sale are deemed to be free from defects and fit for their intended use
and purpose only and of a saleable quality.
Goods that are deemed faulty may be returned for repair, replacement, credit or exchanged only after
approval from NCE. The conditions of these returns are outlined in the NCE Warranty document that
accompanies all NCE products. This document can be found at www.nce.com.au
Warranty Conditions
NCE offers an ‘Express Warranty’ that is activated at the time of NCE product purchase by the
consumer.
This Warranty is in addition to any warranties mandated by Australian Competition and Consumer
Laws.
Nothing in this warranty is to be interpreted as excluding, restricting or modifying such warranties as
required under Regulation 90 of the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010.
Changeof mind
Please choose carefully as credits and returns are not provided where you have simply changed your
mind or made a wrong selection. We recommend that you carefully review any orders before
proceeding. Goods can not be accepted for return unless agreed in writing by NCE and a restocking
charge of 25% may apply.
Damaged goods
NCE recommend that you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver or that you collect from any of
our warehouses to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of
acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.
If any goods arrive damaged, please contact your NCE Account Manager as soon as possible so a
Return Authority Number can be arranged and the goods inspected. Goods must be returned within a
reasonable time. The acceptance of the goods delivered shall be deemed for all purposes to have taken
place 30 days* from the date of delivery.
If a purchaser receives a product that is damaged in transit from NCE, the purchaser should:
•Refuse to accept delivery of the product,
•Direct the courier to "Return goodsto sender" and
•Notify NCE Customer Service or Warranty Department immediately.
NCE will not accept warranty claims on items delivered to the requested destination and inspected at
time of delivery by the purchaser that are subsequently deemed to be damage in transit, after 7 days
of delivery from the delivery date.
Your Account Manager may take the following steps in order to determine the best way to proceed:
Visit you on site to inspect the goods within 5 working days* from your initial contact with NCE.
Where location prevents an immediate on-site visit we may ask you to email photos documenting
the damage to your Account Manager.
