Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Farbsensor erfaßt über Lichtleiter berührungslos farbige Gegenstände und
Materialien im Taster- oder Einwegbetrieb.
Montage
Montieren Sie den Lichtleiter so, daß das zu erfassende Objekt möglichst geringe
Seiten- und Höhenbewegungen ausführt. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die angegebe-
ne Tastweite/Reichweite.
Ziehen Sie die Überwurfmuttern mit der Hand fest (Überwurfmuttern liegen den
jeweiligen Lichtleitern bei).
Tasterbetrieb
Bei glänzenden Objektoberflächen sollten Sie den Tastkopf mit einem Neigungswin-
kel von 10...30° bezogen auf das Objekt montieren.
Einwegbetrieb
Lichtleiter gegenüberliegend montieren und ausrichten.
Elektrischer Anschluß
Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei. Schließen Sie das Gerät nach den
Angaben auf dem Typenschild an.
Der Eingang AT (Austasteingang) kann zur Triggerung des Sensors über ein externes
Spannungssignal verwendet werden.
Sensor ausgetastet: 12 V < AT < UVmax
Sensor unbeeinflußt: AT ≤2 V bzw. unbeschaltet
Ansprechzeit: < 0,2 ms
Der Eingang ET (External Teach) kann zur Programmierung der Referenzfarbe für den
Ausgang Out1 über ein externes Spannungssignal verwendet werden.
Teach In aktivieren: 12 V < ET < UVmax
RUN-Modus: ET ≤2 V bzw. unbeschaltet
Impulsdauer: 0,05ms

Stellen Sie den Drehschalter Farbtoleranz
(Tolerance) auf die gewünschte Farbauflö-
sung.
1= geringer Toleranzbereich
zur Erkennung auch geringer Farb-
nuancen
3= Grundeinstellung
5= großer Toleranzbereich
zur Erkennung von Farbfamilien bzw.

Nach erfolgreichem Teach-In-Vorgang
leuchtet die Funktionsanzeige (Out/OK).
Blinkt sie, ist die Intensität zu hoch.
Tasterbetrieb
Neigen Sie dann den Tastkopf um 10...30°
und wiederholen Sie den Teach-In-Vor-
gang.
Einwegbetrieb
Vergrößern Sie den Abstand Tastkopf/
Objekt bzw. Tastkopf/Tastkopf.
Leuchtet die Funktionsanzeige nicht, ist
die Intensität zu gering.
Tasterbetrieb
Wählen Sie eine hellere Marke.
Einwegbetrieb
Verringern Sie den Abstand Tastkopf/
Objekt bzw. Tastkopf/Tastkopf.
Stellen Sie den Programmwahlschalter auf
Stellung Run bzw. Run Delay (20ms
Abfallverzögerung).
Der Sensor ist betriebsbereit.
Bei aktiviertem Schaltausgang leuchtet die
Funktionsanzeige (Out/OK).
Soll die Toleranzeinstellung nachträglich
verändert werden, so muß die Program-
mierung mit geänderter Toleranzeinstel-
lung erneut durchgeführt werden.

Functions and features
The colour sensor detects coloured objects and materials without contact via fibre
optics in diffuse-reflection or through-beam mode.
Mounting
Mount the fibre optic in a way that the object to be detected makes as little lateral
and vertical movement as possible. Consider the specified range.
Tighten the coupling nuts manually (the coupling nuts are supplied with the fibre
optics).
Diffuse-reflection mode
In the case of shiny object surfaces the sensing head should be mounted at an angle
of inclination of 10...30° referred to the object.
Through-beam mode
Mount the fibre optics opposite each other and align them.
Electrical connection
Disconnect power and connect the sensor as indicated on the type label.
The input AT (activation trigger = synchronising signal) can be used for triggering the
sensor via an external voltage signal.
Sensor deactivated: 12 V < AT < UVmax
Sensor activated: AT ≤2 V or unused
Response time: < 0.2 ms
The input ET (External Teach) can be used for programming the reference colour for
the output out1 via an external voltage signal.
Activate teach-in: 12 V < ET < UVmax
RUN mode: ET ≤2 V or unused
Pulse duration: 0.05ms

Release the Teach button, the light spot
disappears.

After a successful teach-in operation the
function display (Out/OK) comes on. If it
flashes, the intensity is too high.
Diffuse-reflection mode
Incline the sensing head by 10...30° and
repeat the teach-in operation.
Through-beam mode
Increase the distance sensing head/object
or sensing head/sensing head.
If the function display is not lit, the inten-
sity is too low.
Diffuse-reflection mode
Select a lighter mark.
Through-beam mode
Reduce the distance sensing head/object
or sensing head/sensing head.
Set the programming selector switch to
Run or Run Delay (20 ms switch-off delay).
For sensors with several switching outputs
repeat the programming for the other
switching outputs accordingly.
The colour tolerance can be individually
determined for each switching output.
The sensor is ready for operation.
If the switching output is activated, the
function display is lit (Out/OK).
If the tolerance setting is to be changed
subsequently, programming must be
made again with the tolerance setting
changed.

Fonctionnement et caractéristiques
Le détecteur de couleurs détecte sans contact des objets et des matériaux colorés via
des fibres optiques en mode réflexion directe ou barrages photoélectriques.
Montage
Montez la fibre optique de façon à ce que l'objet à détecter fasse le moins possible
de mouvements latéraux et verticaux. Vérifiez la portée indiquée.
Serrez les écrous manuellement (les écrous sont fournis avec les fibres optiques).
Système réflexion directe
En cas d'objets brillants montez la tête de détection avec un angle d'inclination de
10...30° par rapport à l'objet.
Système barrage photoélectrique
Montez les fibres optiques face à face et alignez-les.
Raccordement électrique
Mettez l'installation hors tension avant de raccorder le détecteur selon les indi-
cations de l'étiquette.
L'entrée AT (entrée de synchronisation) peut être utilisée pour déclencher le détec-
teur via un signal de tension externe.
Détecteur désactivé: 12 V < AT < UVmax
Détecteur activé: AT ≤2 V ou non câblé
Temps de réponse: < 0,2 ms
L'entrée ET (entrée de programmation extérieure) peut être utilisée pour program-
mer la couleur de référence pour la sortie Out1 via un signal de tension externe.
Programmation: 12 V < ET < UVmax
Mode RUN: ET ≤2 V ou non câblé
Durée d'impulsion: 0,05ms

Un spot lumineux rouge apparaît sur

Relâchez le bouton Teach, le spot lumi-
neux disparaît.

Après l'opération apprentissage réussie
l'indication fonction (Out/OK) est allumée.
Si elle clignote, l'intensité est trop grande.
Système réflexion directe
Inclinez la tête de détection de 10...30° et
répétez l'opération apprentissage.
Système barrage photoélectrique
Agrandissez la distance tête de détec-
tion/objet ou tête de détection/tête de
détection.
Si l'indication fonction n'est pas allumée,
l'intensité est trop faible.
Système réflexion directe
Sélectionnez un repère plus clair.
Système barrage photoélectrique
Réduisez la distance tête de
détection/objet ou tête de détection/tête
de détection.
Positionnez le commutateur sélecteur de
programmation sur Run ou Run Delay
(temporisation au déclenchement 20 ms).
Pour les détecteurs avec plusieurs sorties
de commutation répétez la program-
mation pour les autres sorties de com-
mutation.
La tolérance de couleurs peut être déter-
minée individuellement pour chaque sor-
tie de commutation.
Le détecteur est disponible.
Si la sortie de commutation est activée,
l'indication fonction (Out/OK) est allumée.
Si le réglage de la tolérance doit être
changé ultérieurement, la programmation
doit être refaite après changement du
réglage de la tolérance.
