Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

In Verbindung mit Tripelspiegel oder Reflexlichtfolie erfaßt die Reflex-

lichtschranke berührungslos transparente Gegenstände und Materiali-

en und meldet sie durch ein Schaltsignal.

Elektrischer Anschluß

Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei. Schließen Sie das Gerät

nach den Angaben auf dem Typenschild an.

Montage

Befestigen Sie den Tripelspiegel oder Reflexfolie hinter dem zu erfas-

senden Objekt. Richten Sie die Reflexlichtschranke darauf aus und

befestigen Sie sie mit Hilfe einer Montagehalterung.

Die Reichweite von 1,5 m (mit Reflektor 80 mm ∅) wird nur bei genau-

er Justage erreicht.

Um einen anderen Mode auszuwählen folgen Sie wieder Punkt 1 bis Punkt 5.

• Extern über Steuerleitung ET

Schalten Sie den Mode Schalter auf

Teach, nach 2 s blinkt die Funktionsan-

zeige und der Sensor ist bereit zum

Einstellen des Arbeitsmodes

2Stellen Sie sicher, daß sich kein Objekt im Strahlengang befindet

Wählen Sie einen der nachfolgenden

Modi durch entsprechende Anwahl mit

dem Mode Schalter aus:

Mode I

(z.B.PET-Flaschen, transparente Folien)

Mode II

(z.B. Glasflaschen)

Mode III

(z.B. Buntglas Flaschen)

Ca. 2 s nachdem der Mode Schalter auf dem ausgewählten Modus ein-

gestellt wurde, leuchtet die Funktionsanzeige stetig. Damit ist der Ein-

stellvorgang beendet.

Der einmal eingestellte Mode bleibt auch nach Abschalten der Versor-

gungsspannung erhalten (nicht flüchtiger Speicher).

1Lassen Sie den Anschluß ET unbeschaltet (oder 0 V).

Um einen anderen Mode auszuwählen folgen Sie wieder Punkt 1 bis Punkt 4.

Betrieb

Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät sicher funktioniert.

Die Funktions-LED leuchtet bei Lichtempfang (= kein Gerät zwischen

Gerät und Reflektor)

• Ausführung PNP

Ausgang: hellschaltend, bei Lichtunterbrechung Ausgang LOW.

FC: Funktionskontrollausgang [sichere Detektion: ca. 0 V; inkorrektes

Teach-In oder starke Verschmutzung: UB- (<2,9 V)].

• Ausführung NPN

Ausgang: hellschaltend, bei Lichtunterbrechung Ausgang HIGH.

FC: Funktionskontrollausgang (sichere Detektion: ca. UB; inkorrektes

Teach-In oder starke Verschmutzung: ca. <1,8 V)

Wartung

Halten Sie die Linsen des Geräts von Verschmutzung frei.

Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine Lösungsmittel oder Reiniger, die

die Kunststofflinsen beschädigen könnten.

Wählen Sie einen der nachfolgenden Modi durch entsprechendes anle-

gen eines HIGH Pegel (+10 V ... UB) an den Anschluß ET:

Mode I (z.B. PET-Flaschen, transparente Folien)

Dauer des HIGH Signal an der Steuerleitung zwischen 30-100 ms.

Empfohlene Signaldauer: 50 ms.

Mode II (z.B. Glasflaschen)

Dauer des HIGH Signal an der Steuerleitung zwischen 100-200 ms.

Empfohlene Signaldauer: 150 ms.

Mode III (z.B. Buntglas Flaschen)

Dauer des HIGH Signal an der Steuerleitung > 200 ms.

Empfohlene Signaldauer: 250 ms.

Ca. 2 s nachdem der HIGH Pegel angelegt wurde, leuchtet die Funk-

tionsanzeige stetig. Damit ist der Einstellvorgang beendet.

Der einmal eingestellte Mode bleibt auch nach Abschalten der Versor-

gungsspannung erhalten (nicht flüchtiger Speicher).

Functions and features

In conjunction with a prismatic reflector or reflective tape the retro-

reflective sensor detects transparent objects and materials without

contact and indicates their presence by a switched signal.

Electrical connection

Isolate power, then connect the units according to the type label.

Installation

Fix prismatic reflector/reflective tape behind the object to be detected.

Align the photocell and fasten it to a mounting bracket.

The range of 1.5 m (with reflector 80 mm Ø) is only possible with pre-

cise alignment.

Setting the operating range

• manually via the Mode switch

To select another mode follow points 1 to 5 once again.

• externally via ET control wire

Set the Mode switch to Teach, after 2 s

the function display flashes and the

operating mode of the sensor can be

set.

2Ensure that no object is in the light beam.

Select one of the following modes by

setting the Mode switch as follows:

Mode I

(e.g. PET bottles, transparent films)

Mode II

(e.g. clear glass bottles)

Mode III

(e.g. coloured glass bottles)

Approx. 2 s after selecting the Mode, the function display will be con-

stantly lit. Setting has been completed.

The mode remains set even if supply voltage is switched off (non-volatile

memory).

Operation

Check the safe functioning of the unit.

The function LED is lit when light is received (= no object between unit

and reflector)

• PNP version

Output: light-on mode, when the light beam is interrupted the output

is LOW.

FC: function-check output [safe detection: approx. 0 V; incorrect

Teach-In or severe soiling: UB- (<2.9 V)].

• NPN version

Output: light-on mode, when the light beam is interrupted the output

is HIGH.

FC: function-check output (safe detection: approx. UB; incorrect Teach-

In or severe soiling: approx. <1.8 V)

Maintenance

Keep the lens of the sensor free from soiling. For cleaning do not use

any solvents or cleaning agents which could damage the plastic lenses.

Select one of the following modes by applying a High signal (+10 V...Ub)

to the ET connection:

Mode I (e.g. PET bottles, transparent films)

Duration of the High signal to the control wire between 30-100 ms.

Recommended signal duration: 50 ms

Mode II (e.g. clear glass bottles)

Duration of the High signal to the control wire between 100-200 ms.

Recommended signal duration: 150 ms

Mode III (e.g. coloured glass bottles)

Duration of the High signal to the control wire > 200 ms

Recommended signal duration: 250 ms

constantly lit. Setting has been completed.

Fonctionnement et caractéristiques

En liaison avec un réflecteur "nid d'abeille" ou une bande adhésive

réflex ce système réflex détecte des objets et matières transparents

sans contact et indique leur présence par un signal de commutation.

Raccordement électrique

Mettre l'installation hors tension avant le raccordement de la cel-

lule selon l'étiquette.

Montage

Fixer le réflecteur ou la bande adhésive réflex derrière l'objet à détec-

ter. Orienter la cellule réflex et la fixer avec une équerre de fixation.

Portée de 1,5 m (avec réflecteur 80 mm Ø) seulement avec orientation

précise.

FRANÇAIS

Réglage de la plage de fonctionnement

• manuellement via le commutateur Mode

Pour sélectionner un autre mode répéter les points 1 à 5.

• réglage externe via câble de contrôle ET

Mettre le commutateur Mode sur

Teach, après 2 s l'afficheur fonction cli-

gnote et le capteur est prêt pour le

réglage du mode de fonctionnement.

2S'assurer qu'aucun objet ne se trouve dans le faisceau.

Sélectionner un des modes suivants en

réglant le commutateur Mode comme suit:

Mode I

(par. ex. bouteilles PET, feuilles transpa-

rentes)

Mode II

(par ex. bouteilles en verre clair)

Mode III

(par. ex. bouteilles en verre teinté)

Env. 2 s après avoir mis le commutateur Mode sur le mode sélectionné,

l'afficheur fonction est allumé en permanence. Le réglage est terminé.

Le réglage effectué est conservé même si la cellule est mise hors tension

(mémoire rémanente).

1Ne pas raccorder le fil ET borne 5 (ou 0 V).

Mettre le commutateur Mode sur EXT,

après 2 s l'afficheur fonction clignote

et le capteur est prêt pour le réglage

du mode de fonctionnement.

1S'assurer qu'aucun objet ne se trouve dans le faisceau.

Pour sélectionner un autre mode répéter les points 1 à 4.

Fonctionnement

Vérifier le bon fonctionnement de la cellule.

La LED fonction est allumée en cas de réception de lumière (= aucun

objet entre la cellule et le réflecteur).

• Version PNP

Sortie: mode éclairement, sortie BAS si le faisceau est interrompu.

FC: sortie diagnostique (détection sûre: env. 0 V; Teach-In incorrect ou

encrassement fort: UB- (<2,9 V)).

• Version NPN

Sortie: mode éclairement, sortie HAUT si le faisceau est interrompu.

FC: sortie diagnostique (détection sûre: env. UB; Teach-In incorrect ou

encrassement fort: env. <1,8 V).

Entretien

Les lentilles de la cellule doivent être dégagées de tout encrassement.

Pour le nettoyage ne pas utiliser de solvants ou de produits qui pour-

raient abîmer les lentilles en plastique.

Sélectionner un des modes suivants en appliquant un signal haut (+10 V

... UB) au fil ET (borne 5):

Mode I (par. ex. bouteilles PET, feuilles transparentes)

Durée du signal haut au fil ET (borne 5) entre 30-100 ms

Durée du signal recommandée: 50 ms

Mode II (par ex. bouteilles en verre clair)

Durée du signal haut au fil ET (borne 5) entre 100-200 ms

Durée du signal recommandée: 150 ms

Mode III (par. ex. bouteilles en verre teinté)

Durée du signal haut au fil ET (borne 5) > 200 ms

Durée du signal recommandée: 250 ms

Env. 2 s après avoir appliqué le signal haut, l'afficheur fonction est
