Read the instructions before using the machine
2 General
It is the responsibility of the owner of the machine/the laundry manager to make sure that the following maintenance
is performed.
Check and clean filter on a regular basis or if the warning message “NOTIFY RESPONSIBLE! CLEAN SPECIAL FIL-
TER” is displayed.
Due to various installations and depending on the use of the machine other intervals may be necessary.
Note!
Adding too much detergent in the washing process will increase cleaning interval of the lint filters.
Note!
Hard water may require more maintenance of filters due to tendancy of using too much detergent in the
washing process.
Note!
Lack of maintenance may deteriorate the performance of the machine and may cause damage to
components.
Note!
All three lint filters must be in place when the machine is running.

3 Maintenance
3.1 Clean the lint filters
Disconnect the power to the machine.
Open the door.
Check that the two filters (A) and (B) are clean and unbroken. (Those two filters shall be cleaned after each drying
cycle by the user).
Clean or replace if necessary.

3.2 Special filter
The Special filter (C) is placed under the lint filter (B).
Pull out the filters as far as possible.
Loosen the two nuts on the locking bracket.
It is also possible to reach the nuts from behind the filter (A). Demount the filter (A) and loosen the two nuts on the
locking bracket.
Remove the filters and clean the Special filter (C) with a vacuum cleaner.

Note!
Replace the Special filter when needed or when the warning message “NOTIFY RESPONSIBLE! CLEAN SPE-
CIAL FILTER” is displayed. It can be vacuum cleaned up to four times.
Note!
Do not use water to clean the Special filter.
When remounting; position the Special filter (C) below the lint filter (B). Make sure the Special filter (C) is in center po-
sition when inserting the filters on the filter bracket.
Make sure the filters are in position and below the locking bracket. Tighten the nuts on the locking bracket, press the
locking bracket down at the same time as tightening the nuts.
If the filter (A) has been demounted; remount the filter (A).
3.3 Clean the water valve
At regular basis, check the water valve and filter.
Disconnect the power to the machine.
Disconnect the water supply to the heat pump.
Disassemble the water valve (A) and check that the hole is not blocked. Check the filter.
Check the drain for condensed water (B) and the drain for cooling water (C).

Clean and remove any dirt or coating if necessary.
Remount the valve.

4 Maintenance to be carried out by qualified service personnel
After 800 hours of operation or once a year, whichever comes first, contact qualified service personnel to perform the
following maintenance. If neglected performance will decrease and the machine can be damaged.
4.1 Clean the glide surface for the RMC graphite collector
At regular basis, wipe off/clean drum and lifters with citric acid (Acidum citricum). If soap/softener residue remains, it
is recommended also to use a coarse sponge.
Lack of cleaning can reduce the automatic residual moisture control which will make the load being moister than re-
quested when the program has ended.
Clean the glide surface for the RMC graphite collector on the outside of the drum (A).

4.2 Clean the area around the drum
Disconnect the power to the machine.
Demount the top panel.
Make sure that the area around the drum and the area over the drum are clean and that there is no lint. Clean with a
vacuum cleaner if necessary.

4.3 Clean the motor and the area around the motor
Disconnect the power to the machine.
Demount the rear panel.
Disconnect the motor cable (A).
Demount the spring and the drum belt (B).
Demount the two screws and remove the motor with console and pulley.

Make sure that the motor is clean and that there is no lint. Clean with a vacuum cleaner if necessary. Make sure that
there is no lint around the air cooling inlets (C).

Make sure that the areas around the motor inside the machine are clean and that there is no lint. Clean with a vac-
uum cleaner if necessary. Make sure that all lint has been removed and that all areas are clean before remounting.

Remount the motor, the spring and the drum belt.
Connect the motor cable and remount the rear panel.
