nière manipulation s’est bien effec-

tuée dans le sens horaire. Puis repous-

Remarque

Il est indispensable de procéder à

la mise à l’heure de la montre

avant d’effectuer toute autre cor-

rection (année, mois, date, jour

de la semaine). Une fois la mise

à l’heure terminée, les correc-

tions de l’année, du mois, de la

date, du jour de la semaine

(poussoirs I et II) ne doivent en

aucun cas être effectuées lorsque

la montre affiche entre 20h00 et

01h00 (du matin). En cas d’incer-

titude sur l’heure indiquée par les

aiguilles (matin ou après-midi), avan-

cer les

aiguilles des heures et des

minutes

(couronne en position 2) jus-

qu’à

01h00 du matin, après le change-

ment

de date. Effectuer ensuite les cor-

rections de l’année, du mois, de la

date, du jour de la semaine.

La montre C

LASSIQUE

s'inspire direc

tement des créations d'A.-Louis

Breguet. Elle illustre ses principes,

qui révolutionnèrent la conception

des garde-temps: pureté des for-

mes, harmonie des proportions et

sobriété des cadrans. Cette esthé-

tique raffinée reflète la construc-

tion originale des mouvements. Du

boîtier finement cannelé au cadran

guilloché à la main, chaque détail

d'une montre CLASSIQUE porte l'em-

preinte de notre fondateur. Le sceau

du style Breguet.

La montre CLASSIQUE avec quan-

tième perpétuel en ligne se distingue

par la sobriété de sa construction.

Son mouvement permet pour la pre-

mière fois d'afficher sur une même

ligne toutes les indications duquan-

tième perpétuel et d'offrir un saut

d'année instantané. Cette concep-

tion originale, protégée par un bre-

vet déposé en 1997, trouve son exact

reflet dans le cadran guilloché à

l'esthétique épurée. Se donner les

moyens techniques d'exprimer le

beau est sans doute le moteur essen-

tiel de l’innovation chez Breguet.

The crown has two positions:

1. Neutral position

2. Time-setting position

Starting the watch

Crown in position 1. This position

enables manual winding of the

self-winding movement, meaning

winding by rotating the crown

upwards (

▲

), about 30 to 35 turns.

Afterwards, when worn on the wrist,

the watch is automatically rewound.

If not worn, it will stop after about

45 hours.

Setting the time

Pull the crown out to position 2. Turn

the crown upwards (

▲

) to move the

hands forwards to the date change at

midnight. Then set your watch to the

desired time by turning the hands

(Please note: if you set your watch

during the afternoon, you must first

move the hands past noon). For accur-

ate time-setting, ensure that the last

operation was done in a clockwise

direction. Then push the crown back

to position 1. After this operation,

rotate the crown downwards (

▼

) to

make sure it turns freely.

Nota bene

It is vital to set the watch to the

correct time before carrying out

any other correction (year,

month, date, day of the week).

Once this operation is complet-

ed, corrections of the year, the

month, the date and the day of

the week (push-piece I and II)

must under no circumstances be

done when the watch shows a

time between 8pm and 1am.

If you are uncertain of the time shown

by the hands (whether it is am or pm),

move the hour and minute hands for-

wards (crown in position 2) up to

1am, after the date change. Then cor-

rect the year, the month, the date and

the day of the week.

Correcting the year, the month

and the date – push-piece I; the

day of the week – push-

piece II

The leap-year indicator completes

a full revolution every four years.Push-

piece Isimultaneously moves the date

(1-31), the month and the year.

After completing the last operation

(date of the month) with push-piece I,

press push-piece II using the stylus to

individually correct the day of the

week.
