Machine Overview

This printer has two power switches. The Main Power switch is located

behind the Front Door. This switch controls the main power to the printer.

NOTE: Onlyuse the Main Power switch if instructed to do so.

The Secondary Power switch is located on top of the printer. This is the

preferred switch to use to power off and on the printer This switch is for the

This switch is for the

following: Controls power to the printer electronic components, Initiates a

software-controlled shutdown when used.

The serial number is on the left front side of the printer, behind Left Side

DoorA.

Load Paper in Trays 2 - 5

•Pull out the tray and make sure the guide

locks are in place.

•Example for long-edge feed (LEF) 1-sided

printing:

Insert letterhead, pre-printed paper, and

labels face-up with the top ed

front. Load hole punched paper with the

holes to the right.

•If the Touch Screen prompts, verify the size,

type, and color information on the Tray

Settings screen

•Select [Size], [Type], or [Color], then modify

the settings as need.

•Select [OK].

Jam Clearance – Tray 1

WARNING: Internal parts of the printer can be hot.

Use caution when doors and covers are open.

If no jammed paper was found in tray, push up the latch

on the left side of the

Remove any remaining paper jammed inTray 1.

Close Left Side DoorA

Load the paper in the tray.

NOTE: Do not load paper above the maximum fill line.

Overfilling can cause paper jams.

Maintenance - replacing toner cartridge

Open the Front Cover.

Locate the re

uired Toner Cartrid

Grasp the cartridge and pull it straight out of the printer.

NOTE: Dispose of the cartridge as normal office waste or recycle it in

accordance with local regulations.

Removethe new TonerCartrid

Install theTonerCartridge by aligning the arrow on the cartridge and

installed.

Close the front cover.
