a. Connect the USB 2.0 cable from the Rimage 360i to your PC
USB 2.0 port.
b. Connect the power cord
from the Rimage 360i to
the power outlet.
a. Power on your PC.
b. At your PC, insert the
Rimage 360i Software
disc in the
PC disc drive.
c. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
In Windows 2000, a warning message that the software
you are about to install does not contain a digital signature
displays. To install the software, select Yes.
In Windows XP, a warning message that the software has
not passed Windows Logo testing displays. To install the
software, select Continue Anyway.
d. When the Installation Status screen displays Rimage
software was successfully installed, select Finish.
Install the Rimage 360i software.
If you are unfamiliar with the procedures in this document, ask your
computer technician for help or refer to your PC documentation.
Before you begin:
• You must have administrative privileges to install and operate the
Rimage 360i software on your PC.
• Do not plug in any cables until you are instructed to do so.
• Obtain a computer than meets the PC specifications listed in the
‘Learn more’ section of your Rimage 360i User Guide.

Setup and Installation

Connect the Rimage 360i cables.

install and operate the Rimage 360i software on your PC.

Note: If the software installation does not start
automatically, navigate: Start > Run > Browse and
select the Setup file from the disc.
Note: Leave the software disc in the disc drive
until you have completed step 3.
Note: The PC must have a USB 2.0 port. For more
information, refer to the computer specifications
listed in the ‘Learn More’ section of your Rimage 360i
User Guide.

Install the printer driver. Install the ink cartridges. Activate your software.

After software installation, a version of the Rimage 360i
User Guide in the langauge you selected during software
installation is available in PDF format on your hard drive at
Start > Programs > Rimage > Manuals.
For information about the software included with your Rimage
360i, refer to the online help.
For additional support and product information,
go to www.rimage.com/support.html.
You have 30 days to activate your software. Until your
software is activated, you will be prompted to activate your
software each time you use it.
a. Open the ink cartridge
access door.
b. When the ink cartridge carriage is still, lift both ink
cartridges latches.
c. Slide the matching ink cartridges into the matching
carriages as shown.
d. Close the ink cartridge
latches.
e. Close the ink cartridge
access door. The printer
initializes.
f. Align the ink cartridges. For specific instructions,
refer to the Rimage 360i User Guide.

a. To power on the Rimage 360i, press the power
switch. The Rimage 360i initializes.
In Windows 2000, the printer driver installation
completes automatically.
In Windows XP, the Found New Hardware Wizard
displays. To install the required printer driver, complete
the following prompts:
i. In the Found New Hardware Wizard, select No,
not this time. Windows searches for the installed
driver.
ii. Select Next. The window updates.
iii. Select Install the software automatically.
iv. Select Next. A warning message that the software
has not passed Windows Logo Testing displays.
v. Select Continue Anyway. The driver installation
starts.
vi. At the Completing the Found New Hardware
Wizard window, select Finish.
b. Remove the Rimage 360i Software disc from the PC
disc drive.
