only explains the differences from the AL-C1, so knowledge of that model is

What Models are there in the Series?
AL-C2b (D129)
40 cpm
Available in a Basic model and an SP Model
» The basic model does not have a built-in hard disk or built-in
printer and scanner kits.
AL-C2c (D130)
50 cpm
Available in a Basic model and an SP Model
» The basic model does not have a built-in hard disk or built-in
printer and scanner kits.
All models contain a duplex unit and a bypass tray as
standard equipment.
ARDF
North America: All models have a built-in ARDF
Other regions: The ARDF is an option.
All models contain a color scanner.
Basic models can be upgraded to SP models.

For a customer who has a basic model, install the optional HDD if the customer
wants to use the document box features.
When a customer wishes to upgrade a basic model with a printer/scanner or
printer enhance kit, the optional 512 MB must be installed.

A platen cover can be installed instead of the ARDF (except for the NA version).
