Introduction
To get the best out of an FM system, it must be accurately fitted and carefully custom-
ized to fit the individual needs of the user. Oticon Amigo offers the performance and
flexibility to achieve this.
The Amigo product family is extremely versatile, making life easier for users in school
settings. Amigo transmitters and receivers can be used with virtually all Behind-the-Ear
hearing instruments, as well as connected to cochlear implants.
This guide will introduce you to the members of the Amigo family. And it will take
you, step by step, through the fitting, programming and verification of the transmitters
and receivers.
Once you get started, you’ll realize just how easy Amigo is to use – for adults and chil-
dren alike!

Before starting Get to know theT20 andT21
The T20 and T21 are body-worn transmitters. They also serve as the Amigo
system’s programming and fitting unit. No other equipment is needed to pro-
gram the Amigo receivers or transmitter. You can access the programming menu
through a special key combination.
The Amigo T21 offers a built-in team teaching function too.

Programming Amigo receivers withWRP
Before starting
Oticon Amigo T10
The Amigo T10 transmitter is a multi-purpose
transmitter designed to be used inside and out-
side the classroom.
WRP
Wireless Receiver Programmer allows
wireless fitting of all Amigo ear level
receivers.
The WRP allows you to program the Amigo receivers (R1, R2 and R7) in
situations where you do not have Amigo T10, T20 and T21 available.

Synchronization
Before starting
Optimal distance is within 40 cm of receivers
– Attach the FM adaptor to the BTE
– Attach the Amigo Receiver to the FM adaptor
– Turn the BTE and the Amigo transmitter and receiver ON
– Synchronize the receiver with the transmitter by pressing one time on the
Sync button
Transmitter and receiver (one or more) are

AA NiMH battery
You can use the Amigo T20/T21 or WRP to perform a realtime wire-
less fitting on the ear of the child. The batteries should be re-charged
over night.
