TO OLYMPUS MICROSCOPE SERVICING PERSONNEL

VANOX

(AH)

designed

aversatile research microscope equipped

with

various accessories.

This repair manual describes repairing procedures in principle

for

its standard configuration

abiological

microscope.

The

focusing mechanism

the microscope

largely

different

from

that

BH2 since the

former

must

assure

robbustness,

durability

and accuracy compatible

with

heavy accessories

attached

it.

Therefore,

the

focusing mechanism

can

rarely

troubled in practical

use.

After

has

been

used

for

long

time,

however,

will

require lubrication and repair

protect

from

dust,

humidity,

etc.

The

special

tools

listed in this manual must

employed

for

disassembling the instrument; otherwise

may

not

disassembled

parts may

damaged.

The

observation

tube

equipped

with

aconstant tube length adjustment

(to

automatically compensate

for

variation

interpupillary

distance between binocular tubes) and must

adjusted elaborately

described

in this manual

after

disassembly

the prism. Do

not

attempt

disassembly

the prism when the special

tools

for

adjustment are

not

available
