Quick Start Guide

for heat pump tumble dryer

These short instructions are not a substitute

for the Operating instructions supplied with the appliance.

Please read the Operating instructions supplied with

your tumble dryer before using it for the first time and

take note of the Warning and Safety instructions as well

The appliance is compatible with the

Miele|home system (available in

selected countries).

b:sensor (Information)

If the sensor is lit up, information is

available for the menu displayed.

cPC interface

Used by service technicians to run

diagnostic checks on your

appliance, or to update

programming data in the future.

dSelector sensors

If a selector sensor is illuminated, it is

active.

eDisplay

For displaying:

–The selected functions.

–The programme sequence.

–Info texts.

–Fault messages.

fUsensor (Clear)

–Returns to the previous menu

screen.

–Returns to the main menu if pressed

twice.

– Discards previously set values.

– Cancels a programme.

gStart sensor

The selected programme is started

via the sensor illuminated in green.

hKbutton

For switching the dryer on and off.

To save energy, the dryer will switch

off automatically 15 minutes after the

end of a programme/Anti-crease, or

if no other function is selected after

switching on.

i/button

For opening the door, even if the

dryer is switched off.

Preparing the laundry

,Make sure that objects, e.g. detergent dispensing

balls, have been removed from the laundry.

^Sort the laundry (e.g. according to the drying level

required, the type of fibre or weave).

Pay attention to the manufacturers' information on the care

labels:

sDo not tumble dry.

r/qSuitable for all programmes.

Loading the tumble dryer

^Press the abutton and open the door.

^Load the laundry loosely into the drum.

^Close the door.

Check the laundry is right inside the drum so that it cannot

get trapped or damaged when the door is shut.

1. Switch the dryer on by pressing K.

Touch the right sensor on the right to display other

programmes.

^Touch the sensor on the left for the drying level required.

^Confirm with OK.

3. Starting the programme

^Confirm with the green Start sensor.

4. Programme end - removing the laundry

OAnti-crease and Finish will appear in the display to

indicate that the programme has finished. The buzzer will

sound at intervals.

15 minutes after programme end/Anti-crease the dryer will

switch off automatically.

^Press the abutton and open the door.

^Remove the laundry.

^Switch off the tumble dryer with the sbutton.

^Clean the fluff filters.

^Close the door.

^Empty the condensed water container.

Fabric type For drying microfibre fabrics, ski wear, fine, closeweave cotton

garments (poplin) or tablecloths which are suitable for drying in a

tumble dryer and have been treated to provide a water and dirt

resistant finish.
