Maytag Electric Dryer - MDE22PD

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Clean lint screen before each use.

2. Sort and load clothes (max. 9.0 kg).

3. Close door.

4. Insert coins.

5. Select FABRIC SETTING.

SAFETY iNFORMATiON

• Do not use this dryer without the lint screen

in place.

Do not use this dryer if industrial chemicals have

been used for cleaning.

This appliance shall not be used to dry off

solvents or dry cleaning fluids.

Do not open door while machine is in operation.

The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs

without heat (cool down cycle) to ensure that the

articles are left at a temperature that ensures that

the items will not be damaged.

WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the

end of the drying cycle unless all items are

quickly removed and spread out so that the heat

is dissipated.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical,

sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of

experience or knowledge, unless they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning

use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they

do not play with the appliance.

Do not dry unwashed items in the dryer.

Oil affected items can ignite spontaneously,

especially when exposed to heat sources such

as in a tumble dryer. The items become warm,

causing an oxidation reaction in the oil. Oxidation

creates heat. if the heat cannot escape, the items

can become hot enough to catch fire. Piling,

stacking or storing oil affected items can prevent

heat from escaping and so create a fire hazard.

if it is unavoidable that fabrics that contain

vegetable or cooking oil or have been

contaminated by hair care products be placed in

a tumble dryer, they should first be washed in hot

water with extra detergent - this will reduce, but

not eliminate the hazard.

Items that have been soiled with substances

such as acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot

removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers

should be washed in hot water with extra

detergent before being dried in the dryer.

Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower

caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles

and clothes or pillows filled with foam rubber

pads should not be dried in the dryer.

Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be

used as specified by the fabric softener

instructions.

• Ne pas ouvrir Jecouverde Jorsque Jamachine est en

marche. Elle s'arr_tera.

•La derni_re pattie d'un programme de s6chage par

culbutage a lieu sans chaleur (programme de

refroidissement) pour faire en sorte que les articles

soient laiss_s a une temperature qui garantit que los

articles ne seront pas endommag6s.

AVERTISSEMENT : Ne jamais arr_ter le s6chage par

culbutage avant la fin du programme de s6chage

saul si tousles articles sont retir6s rapidement et

r_partis pour une dissipation

de la chaleur.

Cet appareil n'est pas con_u pour une utilisation par

Ne pas faire s6cher dans le seche-linge des articles

non lav6s.

Les articles sur lesquels il y aeu de I'huile peuvent

s'enflammer spontan_ment, surtout quand ils sont

exposes a des sources de chaleur comme un

s_cheqinge. Les articles deviennent chauds, ce qui

entra_ne une r_action d'oxydation dans I'huile.

L'oxydation g_n_re de la chaleur. Si la chaleur ne

peut pas s'_chapper, les articles deviennent

suffisamment chauds pour s'enflammer. En empilant

et en tassant les articles sur lesqueJs iJy a eu de

I'huHe, on pout emp_cher la chaleur de s'_chapper et

ainsi crier un risque d'incendie.

Si on doit absolument placer des tissus qui

contiennent de I'huile v_g_tale ou de cuisson ou qui

ont _t_ contamin_s par des produits de soin des

cheveux darts un s_che-linge, il faut d'abord les laver

dans de J'eau chaude avec un supplement de

d_tergent; ceci r_duira le danger, sans toutefois

I'_liminer.

Les articles qui ont 6t6 souill6s avec des substances

comme de I'ac6tone, de J'alcool, du p6trole, du

k_ros_ne, des d_tachants, de la t_r_benthine, des

cites et des d6capants pour cite doivent _tre lav6s

I'eau chaude avec un suppl6ment de d6tergent avant

d'etre s6ch6s darts le s_che-linge.

Les articles comme le caoutchouc mousse (mousse

de latex), les bonnets de douche, les textiles

imperm6ables, les articles a endos en caoutchouc

et les v_tements ou oreillers avec rembourrage en

caoutchouc ne doivent pas _tre s6ch_s dans le

s_che-linge.

Les assouNissants de tissu, ou les produits

similaires, doivent _tre utUis_s conform_ment

aux instructions du fabricant d'assouplissant.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO:

1. Limpie el filtro de pelusa antes de cada uso.

2. Separe la ropa y p6ngala en la secadora (9,0 kg m_x.).

3. Cierre la puerta.

4. Inserte las monedas.

5. Seleccione un ajuste de tipo de tejido (FABRIC SETTING).

INFORIVlACION RELATIVA A LA SEGURIDAD

• No use esta secadora sin el filtro de pelusa en

su lugar.

No utilice esta secadora si se hart usado

productos quimicos industriales para la limpieza.

Este electrodom6stico no debe usarse para secar

solventes o liquidos de limpieza en seco.

No abra la puerta mientras la maquina est6

funcionando. Se detendra.

La parte final de un ciclo de rotaci6n en la ®

secadora ocurre sin calor (ciclo de enfriamiento)

para asegurarse de que los articulos se dejen a

una temperatura que asegure que no se dafiaran.

ADVERTENCiA: Nunca detenga un secado con

rotaci6n antes de que se termine el ciclo de

secado, a menos que todos los articulos se hayan

sacado y separado, para que se disipe el calor. ®

Este aparato no ha sido disefiado para set usado

incendiarse espontaneamente, especialmente

calor. Si el calor no puede escapar, los articulos

amontonan o se 9uardan articulos manchados

con aceite, esto impedir_ que el calor se escape y

ocasionara un peligro de incendio.

Si no puede evitarse porter en una secadora que

9ira las telas que contengan aceite vegetal o de

cocina, o que hayan sido contaminadas pot

productos para ei cuidado del cabello, las mismas

deberan lavarse en agua caliente con detergente

adicional =esto reducir_ el peligro, pero no Io

eliminate.

Los articulos que se hayan ensuciado con

substancias tales como acetona, alcohol,

9asolina, queroseno, quitamanchas, aguarras,

ceras y quitaceras, deber_n lavarse en agua

caiiente con una cantidad adicional de detergente

antes de secarse en la secadora.

Los articulos tales como 9omaespuma (espuma

de I_tex), 9orras de bafio, telas resistentes al

agua, articulos con reverso de 9oma y prendas o

almohadas rellenas de 9omaespuma, no deberan

secarse en la secadora.

Los suavizantes de telas oproductos similares

deberhn usarse seg_n Io especificado pot las

instrucciones del suavizante de telas.

ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO:

1. Pulire il filtro per i pelucchi prima di ogni uso.

2. Smistare ed inserire i capi (massimo 9 kg).

3. Chiudere lo sportello.

4. Inserire le monete.

5. Selezionare FABRIC SETTING

(Impostazioni tessuto).

INFORMAZIONI DI SICUREZZA

• Non utilizzare I'asciugatrice senza il filtro in

9arza.

Non utilizzare questa asciugatrice se sono stati

utilizzati prodotti chimici industriali per le

operazioni dJ pulizia.

Questo dispositivo non deve essere usato per

asciugare solventi o fluidi per il lavaggio a secco.

Non aprire Io sportello mentre I'apparecchio

in funzione. Questo provocherh I'arresto

dell'asciugatrice.

La parte finale di un ciclo di asciugatura avviene ,

senza calore (ciclo di raffreddamento) per evitare

danni ai capi.

AWERTENZA: non interrompere mai un ciclo di

asciugatura prima che sia terminato a meno che

non vengano estratti rapidamente i capi estesi

per evitare delle pieghe.

Questo elettrodomestico non _ idoneo all'uso da

parte di persone (inclusi i bambini) con capacit_

motorie, sensoriali omentali ridotte, osenza

esperienza e conoscenza, a meno che non siano

sotto la guida ole indicazioni d'uso

dell'apparecchio da parte di persone esperte e

responsabili della loro sicurezza.

Sorvegliare attentamente i bambini per accertarsi

che non giochino con I'elettrodomestico.

Non asciugare capi che non si possono lavare

nell'asciugatrice.

I capi impregnati di olio possono bruciare

spontaneamente, specialmente se esposti a fonti

di calore come all'interno di un'asciugatrice.

Questi capi possono surriscaldarsi, causando

una reazione di ossidazione dell'olio.

L'ossidazione genera calore. Se questo calore

non pub fuoriuscire, gli articoli possono essere

talmente caldi da prendere fuoco. Accatastare,

ammucchiare o conservare capi impregnati di

olio pub impedire al calore di fuoriuscire ecreate

un pericolo d'incendio.

Se @inevitabile mettere nell'asciugatrice capi

impregnati di olio vegetale od olio da cucJna o

capi che sono stati inquinati da prodotti per la

cura dei capelli, lavarli precedentemente in acqua

calda con una dose abbondante di detersivo;

questo ridurr_ il rischio, put non eliminandolo.

Gli articoli sporchi di sostanze come I'acetone,

l'alcol, il petrolio, il kerosene, 91i smacchiatori,

I'acquaragia, la cera ed i toglicera, devono essere

lavati in acqua calda con una dose abbondante di

detersivo prima di essere messi nell'asciugatrice.

I capi in gommapiuma (gomma di lattice), le

cuffie da doccia, impermeabili, con rivestimenti

in 9omma, ed i capi o i cuscini con elementi in

9omma non devono essere asciugati

nell'asciugatrice.

Gli ammorbidenti, o i prodotti simili, devono

essere usati secondo le istruzioni degli

ammorbidenti stessi.
