control assembly. The new control assembly may appear to work well after repair is

finished, but failure may occur at a later date due to ESD stress.

Use an anti-static wrist strap. Connect wrist strap to green groun connection point or unpainte

metal in the appliance.

Touch your finger repeatedly to a green ground connection point or unpainted metal

in the appliance.

Before removing the part from its package, touch the anti-static bag to a green groun connection

point or unpainte metal in the appliance.

When repackaging faile electronic control assembly in anti-static bag, observe above instructions.

■Do not try to light a match, or cigarette, or turn on

any gas or electrical appliance.

■Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s

phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instructions

carefully.

Dryer Rack Installation Instructions

To ensure safe an secure installation, please observe the instructions below.

Place washer firmly on a stable, even an

Peel protective paper off the tape from the

stacking kit si e bracket.

Fit the stacking kit si e bracket firmly to the

si e of top plate by attaching the ouble-

face tape to top plate as picture shows.

Secure stacking kit si e bracket to the

washer with a screw on the back of bracket.

Repeat Steps 2, 3, 4 for the other si e.

Place the ryer on top of the washer by fitting

legs as shown in the picture. Avoi finger

injuries - be careful not to pinch fingers

between the washer an ryer. Sli e washer

slowly backwar s to the stopper of kit.

Insert the front stacking kit. Push the front

stacking kit back to the stoppers of si e

stacking kit.

Screw both si es of the front kit.

• Do not use stacking kit with a gas ryer in

potentially unstable con itions like a mobile

home.

Do not attempt installation with one person.

Incorrect installation proce ure can cause

The weight of the ryer an the height of

installation makes the stacking proce ure

too risky for one person. This proce ure

Pedestal Installation Instructions

4Attach the ouble-face tape of the bracket to the

ryer as shown so the bent parts of the brackets

align with the e ge an can be attache to the

pe estal with screws.

NOTE :

Attach the lower si e first.

5Be sure to press the a hesive parts of the brackets

firmly to the appliance.

6Install the eight (8) screws(supplie ) to attach the

brackets to the pe estal.

7Move the ryer to the esire place.

NOTE :

The appliance an pe estal assembly

must be place on a soli an level floor

for proper operation. A just the legs of the

appliance an pe estal by turning with a

wrench. Then, a just the lock unt towar

the pe estal while hol ing the pe estal leg

using a wrench.

1Remove pe estal, installation har ware, an

instructions from the shipping carton.

2Position ryer on top of the pe estal.

Use the instructions at this section if your home has

a 3-wire receptacle (NEMA type 10-30R) and you

will be using a UL listed, 120/240 volt minimum,

30 amp, dryer power supply cord.

Review the following options to determine the appropriate electrical connection

for your home:

If this type is available at your home. you will be

connecting to a fused disconnect or circuit breaker

box

Important : use 4-wire connection in the places such

as mobile homes and areas where 3-wire connections

is not available.

Prepare minimum 5ft(1.52m) of length in order for

dryer to be replaced.

First, peel 5 inch (12.7cm) of covering material from

end. Make a 5 inch of ground wire bared. After cutting

/2inch (3.8cm) from 3 other wires. peel insulation

back 1inch (2.5cm). Make ends of 3 wires a hook

shape.

Then, put the hooked shape end of the wire under the

screw of the terminal block(hooked end facing rightward)

and pinch the hook together and screw tightly.

Use the instructions at this section if your home has

a 4-wire receptacle (NEMA type 14-30R) and you

will be using a UL listed, 120/240 volt minimum,

30 amp, dryer power supply cord.

If this type is available at your home. you will be

connecting to a fused disconnect or circuit breaker

1. Connect neutral wire(white) of power cord to center

terminal block screw.

2. Connect red and black wire to the left and right

terminal block screws.

3. Connect ground wire(green) of power cord to external

ground screw and move neutral ground wire of

appliance and connect it to center screw.

4. Make sure that the strain relief screw is tightened.

and be sure that all terminal block nuts are on tight and

power cord is in right position.
