Before You Begin
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Prior to installation, unpack the new sink and inspect it for
damage. Return the sink to its protective carton until you are
ready to install it.
This sink is not intended for undercounter installation.
Inspect the drain and supply tubing. Replace if necessary.
If possible, assemble the faucet and strainer to the sink before
installing the sink.
For a replacement installation, make sure the existing cut-out is
the same size or smaller than the cut-out for the new sink.
1. Preparation
Install the water supplies and drain piping according to the
roughing-in information.
Cut along the template line where indicated for the countertop
opening.

Preparation (cont.)
Position the sink template on the countertop.
Check the clearance between the sink, faucet, backsplash and
cabinet. Adjust the template accordingly.
Verify cabinet clearance beneath the countertop.
Trace around the sink template on the countertop with a pencil.

2. Install the Sink
Cut out the opening by carefully following the pencil line traced
from the template.
Temporarily position the sink in the countertop opening. Verify
the fit and position.
Trace a pencil line, or apply a border of masking tape around the
outside edge of the sink.
Carefully remove the sink from the countertop opening. Return
the sink to the carton.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use plumbers putty
on plastic surfaces, as it will damage the material.
Install the sink strainer to the sink according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Apply a ribbon of sealant on the countertop between the edge of
the opening and the penciled guideline or masking tape border.
Spread the sealant evenly with a putty knife.
Carefully position the sink into the countertop opening so the
“Kohler” logo is to the back. Line up the sink edges with the
pencil line or masking tape.
Press the sink down firmly and evenly.
If used, remove the masking tape.
Immediately wipe away any excess sealant, and fill any voids as
needed.
Verify that the sink has not moved out of position.

Install the Sink (cont.)
Allow the sealant to cure for at least 30 minutes before
proceeding.
Connect and tighten the trap to the strainer, and complete the
water supply connections to the faucet according to the
instructions packed with the faucet.
Run water into the sink and check for leaks.
Clean up with a non-abrasive cleaner.

Avant De Commencer
Respectez tous les codes locaux de plomberie et de bâtiment.
Avant l’installation, déballez le nouvel évier et examinez le
soigneusement pour en déceler tout dommage. Remettre l’évier
dans son emballage jusqu’à ce que vous soyez prêt à l’installer.
Cet évier n’est pas fait pour une installation sous comptoir.
Vérifiez l’état des tubes des évacuations et des alimentations.
Remplacez les si besoin.
Si possible, assemblez le robinet et la crépine à l’évier avant de le
poser.

Si vous remplacez une installation, assurez-vous que la dimension
de la coupe est de même taille ou plus petite que celle nécessaire
pour le nouvel évier.
1. Préparation
Installez les tuyaux des arrivées d’eau et de l’évacuation, selon
l’information du plan de raccordement.
Découpez le long des lignes du plan pour préparer l’ouverture de
votre comptoir.
Positionnez le plan sur le comptoir.
Vérifiez les espaces entre l’évier, le robinet, le dosseret et le
meuble. Ajustez le plan en conséquence.
Vérifiez l’espace requis pour le meuble situé sous le comptoir.
Tracez à l’aide d’un crayon le pourtour de lévier sur le comptoir
en utilisant le plan.

2. Installer l’Évier
Découpez l’ouverture du comptoir suivant la ligne tracée.
Placez temporairement l’évier dans l’ouverture du plan de travail.
Ajustez la position de l’évier.
Tirez une ligne au crayon à papier, ou posez du ruban adhésif
autour du rebord extérieur de l’évier.
Retirez l’évier de l’ouverture du plan de travail. Remettre l’évier
dans son emballage.
ATTENTION : Risque d’endommagement du produit. Ne pas
utiliser de mastic de plombier sur les surfaces de plastique étant
donné que cela endommagera le matériau.
Assemblez le robinet et le tuyau d’évacuation à l’évier
conformément à la notice du fabricant.
Posez un joint étanche sur le comptoir entre les bords de la
découpe et le mastic.
Étalez le matériau d’étanchéité de façon uniforme à l’aide d’un
couteau à mastic.
Placez le lavabo sur l’ouverture du comptoir, de façon à ce que le
logotype de KOHLER soit vers l’arrière. Alignez les bords du
lavabo avec la ligne tracée au crayon ou avec la bordure du
ruban-cache.
Appuyez fermement sur l’évier.
Laissez sécher, puis retirez l’adhésif cache.

Installer l’Évier (cont.)
Essuyez immédiatement tout excédent de matériau et étanchéifiez
toutes les cavités au besoin.
Vérifiez si l’évier ne s’est pas déplacé de sa position initiale.
Avant de continuer, laissez prendre le mastic pendant au moins
30 minutes.
Raccordez et fixez le siphon au drain, puis compléter les raccords
des arrivées d’eau au robinet, selon la notice qui accompagne le
robinet.
Laissez couler l’eau dans le lavabo et vérifiez s’il y a des fuites.
Nettoyez avec des nettoyants non abrasifs.

Antes de comenzar
Cumpla con todos los códigos locales de plomería y de
construcción.
Antes de la instalación, verifique que las piezas no estén dañadas.
Coloque el fregadero en la caja como protección hasta el
momento de la instalación.
Este fregadero no está diseñado para las instalaciones bajo el
mostrador.
Examine las tuberías de suministro y de desagüe. Reemplácelas
de ser necesario.
De ser posible, monte la grifería y el colador antes de instalar el
fregadero.
