PRECAUTIONS
WARNING - Do not install this equipment in a conned space such as a bookcase or similar unit.
WARNING - Wiring methods shall be in accordance with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
WARNING - This is a class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference in which case the user
may be required to take adequate measures.
WARNING - To reduce a risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
CAUTION - Installation should be performed by a qualied service person and should conform to all local codes.
CAUTION - To avoid electrical shock, do not open the camera enclosure. Refer servicing to qualied personnel only.
CAUTION - This camera should not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing) and no objects lled with liquids, such as vases,
should be placed on it.
CAUTION - Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replaced only with the same or equivalent type recommended by
the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
A suitable conduit entries, knock-outs or glands shall be provided in the cable entries of this product in the end use.
Holes in metal, through which insulated wires pass, shall have smooth well rounded surfaces or shall be provided with bushings.
DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD APPLIANCES
1. All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from the municipal waste stream via designated
collection facilities appointed by the government or local authorities.
2. The correct disposal of your old appliance will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human
health.
3. For more detailed information about disposal of your old appliance, please contact your city oce, waste disposal service or
the shop where you purchased the product. To disconnect power from the mains, pull out the mains cord plug. When install
the product, ensure that the plug is easily accessible.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water - For example: near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet
basement; near a swimming pool; etc.
6. Clean only with dry cloth - Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. - Slots and openings in
the cabinet are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the product, and to protect it from overheating. The
openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface. This product should not
be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided and the manufacturer’s
instructions have been adhered to.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliers) that
produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider
than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are
provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where
they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart
is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus
has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION
NOTES:
• Power indicator - LED lights when the power is applied to the camera.
• OSD control joystick - Used to open the on-screen display (OSD) menu system and congure the camera
• HD-SDI out BNC - Connect this connector to a device such as a DVR or monitor with a HD video function
• Service video connector - Provides CVBS output to local monitor/setup equipment through the service video output test
cable (cable provided).
• Power input terminal: 12 Vdc input terminals. Observe the polarity indicated when applying power to the camera.

SECTION 2: INSTALLATION
SECTION 2
Installation
The camera can be mounted on any surface the bracket can attach to. It must be mounted in an environment that is free of excessive
dust and moisture, and is continuously within the temperature range specication.
2.1 Camera installation bracket setup
1. Attach the camera bracket to the mounting surface using appropriate fasteners. The screws provided with the camera are
usable for many hard surfaces.

2. Attach the camera unit to the mounting bracket (see above). Tighten the lock nut suciently to secure the camera to the
bracket.
3. Connect the HD-SDI connector on the back of the camera to a DVR or monitor with HD capabilities using suitable coax cable.
4. Route 2-wire cable between your 12 Vdc voltage source equipment and camera in compliance with local codes. DO NOT
apply power to the cable at this time.
5. Connect the 2-wire power cable to the camera and your power source equipment, observing the voltage polarity marked on
the power input terminals on the camera.
6. Apply power to the camera.
