Transmitter Pairing
1If already tted, REMOVE THE
ALARA’S PROPELLER. Place the
transmitter and receiver within
1m of each other. Switch ON the
transmitter then hold down the
the transmitter’s PAIR button for
2 seconds. The red LED (power)
indicator will ash.
2Power the receiver ON noting that,
for initial pairing, this must be
carried out within 5 seconds of
switching the transmitter on. Once
paired this time constraint is no
longer necessary.
3
4You should now have full control
of your Alara. If the radio does
not immediately pair, ensure
the transmitter is not too close
to the receiver and repeat steps
1 – 4. With pairing complete,
reboot the system by powering the
receiver OFF, then the transmitter,
and switching back on again,
transmitter rst.
Pairing will be complete when the
transmitter’s green LED lights solid.
In the unlikely event that your Alara’s radio does not operate straight out of the box (i.e.
the transmitter is not paired with the receiver), use this guide to rectify the problem. Once
a receiver has been paired to the transmitter, it should not be necessary to complete this
procedure again as the ID code is stored in the receiver.
