GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
2. Locate the battery cover on the back of
the electronic module. Use a screwdriver
to loosen the screw and then open up the
battery cover.
3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on
one end of each battery.
4. Install 2 new AAA batteries following the
diagram inside the battery box.
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the
screw to secure.
BATTERY NOTICE
• UsenewalkalinebatteriesorfullychargedNI-MH(NickelMetal-
hydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance.
• Useonlybatteriesofthesameorequivalenttypeas
recommended.
• Donotmixdifferenttypesofbatteries:alkaline,standard
(carbon-zinc)orrechargeableornewandusedbatteries.
• Donotusedamagedbatteries.
• Insertbatterieswiththecorrectpolarity.

Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and
batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates
they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as
they contain substances that can be damaging to the
environment and human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,
indicate that the battery contains more than the specified
value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out
in Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on
the market after 13th August, 2005.
Help protect the environment by disposing of your product or
batteries responsibly.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
With the Bounce & Play Llama safety comes first. To ensure your
child’ssafety,adultassemblyisrequired.
1. InsertthebottomoftheSupport Post
into the slot on the top of the Support
Base. You will hear a click to indicate
that the Support Post is attached
securely to the Support Base.
2. Insertthebottomofthellamaonto
the top of the Support Post. You will
hear a click to indicate that the llama
is attached securely to the Support
Post.
3. InserttheHandlebehindthellama’s
ears.Insertandtightenthefour
included screws.
CAUTION:
This package contains small parts.
ADULTASSEMBLYREQUIRED.
Foryourchild’ssafety,donotletyourchildplaywiththetoyuntil
it is fully assembled.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. On/Off/Volume Switch
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off/
Volume Switch to the Low volume
or High volume position. You will
hear a song, a welcoming phrase
and sounds. To turn the unit Off, slide
the On/Off/Volume Switch to the Off
position.
2. Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the Bounce & Play Llama will
automaticallyshutoffafterapproximately30secondswithout
input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.
NOTE
Iftheunitpowersdownorifthelightfadesoutduringplay,please
install a new set of button cell batteries.
ACTIVITIES
1. Shape Buttons
Press the Shape Buttons to learn
about numbers, colours and shapes,
as well as hear fun sounds, melodies
and songs. When a songs or melody
is playing, bounce up and down on
the llama to add fun sounds and
phrases over the music. The lights
will flash with the sounds.

2. Bouncing Llama
Bounce up and down on the llama
to hear fun sounds and phrases.
Bouncing up and down continuously
for several seconds will activate
songs or melodies. When a song is
playing, bounce the llama to add fun
soundsoverthesongs.Ifamelody
is playing and the bouncing stops,
the melody will also stop. Continue
bouncing to hear the melody
continue. The lights will flash with the
sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heat sources.
3. Removethebatteriesiftheunitwillnotbeinuseforanextended
period of time.
4. Donotdroptheunitonahardsurfaceanddonotexposetheunit
toexcessmoisture.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Ifforsomereasontheprogram/activitystopsworkingor
malfunctions,pleasefollowthesesteps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interruptthepowersupplybyremovingthebatteries.
3. Let the unit sit for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON.The unit should now be ready to play with
again.
5. If the product still does not work, install a brand new set of
batteries.
