The product is for indoor use. The device cover for indoor

Make sure the device work under stable power supply
and network.
Prepare for a Type 86 Switch Box;
7-Installation Precautions
7.1 Before installation
Device should be installed 1.5m high, the distance for
face recognition is 0.5m-2m,and the optimal distance
for temperature measurement is 50cm.
For the use as access controller, the device should not
be installed far from the access.
7.2 Position for installation and recognition area:
Please use correct power adaptor, DC12V (regulated), to
operate this device. The powe tolerance of this unit is
DC 12V ± 10% (DC10.8V~13.2V), over maximum DC12V
power input may result in the damage of the device.

8-Installation Instructions
Install the Type 86 Switch Box 1.5m high on the wall;
Fix the wall-mounting bracket to the Type 86 Switch Box
with 2 M4x25mm screw;
Pull the network cable and power-supply cable into the
Type 86 Switch Box (to enable the access control with
device, control line also needs to be included)

Note: To connect the relay
Option A: Terminal with ring, the port labeled “12V” can
be used as NO, and the port labeled “GND” can be used
as COM
Option B: Terminal without ring, the port labeled “GND”
can be used as COM, and the port labeled “D1” can be
used as NO

Connect the network cable to the RJ45 Ethernet inter-
face, connect the power to the DC power supply, (to
enable access control system, also need to connect
control line for access control to the relay interface), put
all the cables into the Switch Box.
