QUICK START GUIDE
For those familiar with e-cigarettes, the steps
below can be followed to allow the device to
be used in the shortest possible time:
• Prime the atomizer head
• Fill the tank
• Switch the Tornado XS on
• Press the power button and inhale
• Charge the battery (it will possibly not
have been shipped with a full charge)
Priming the Atomizer Head
It is important to “prime” a new atomizer head before
rst use. Failure to do so can damage the atomizer head.
Grip the airow adjuster and unscrew the tank from the
battery. Holding the tank’s glass tube, unscrew the base
from the tank. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton
wick through the top of the atomizer head, and through
the openings on its sides. Check the atomizer head is
securely tightened into the tank base, then screw the
base back into the tank and ret to the battery.
Note: Leave a new atomizer head to sit in a tank full of
e-liquid for ve minutes before vaping. This ensures the
atomizer head is fully saturated with e-liquid before use.

Filling the Tank
Push the top of the tank down and unscrew anti-clockwise.
Insert the lling nozzle of your e-liquid bottle into either
lling port, and ll the tank, being careful not to overll.
Screw the top of the tank back on in a clockwise rotation
whilst pushing down rmly.
Note: To avoid leaking, ensure an air gap
of around 2mm remains above
the e-liquid after lling.
Atomizer Head Lifespan
Atomizer heads do not last forever and need to be replaced
periodically. Lifespan is generally from a few days to several
weeks, depending on power used, vaping style, avour and
type of e-liquid. A slight burnt taste, general loss of vapour
production, or a reduction in avour intensity can all be
indicators that the atomizer head requires replacement.
Switching On and O
To switch the Tornado XS on or o, quickly press the
power button ve times. The indicator light will ash
ve times when switched on or o.
Vaping
Press and hold the power button as you gently inhale
the vapour, releasing the power button when you have
nished inhaling. The indicator light will illuminate while
the power button is held down, with its colour showing
battery condition. See Battery Life Indication to see
what each colour means.

Changing Output Power
The Tornado XS battery has 3 dierent power settings:
High, Medium and Low. To switch between power settings,
press the power button three times in quick succession;
the indicator light will illuminate Green for high power,
Blue for medium power and Red for low power.
Note: You can check the power setting currently set
by pressing the power button twice in a quick succession,
the current power setting of the device will be displayed.
Adjusting Airow
If you nd airow too airy or too tight, rotate the airow
adjuster to expose less or more of the holes and slit.
The holes will give a ner adjustment, while the slit allows
more open airow. Experiment to nd your preference.
E-liquid Level
To prevent the atomizer head from becoming dry and
burning prematurely, ensure the uid level does not
drop below the atomizer head uid inlet holes visible
through the tank glass.
Battery Life Indication
The indicator light will display the below colours,
dependant on the device’s level of charge.
Charging the Battery
Insert the supplied charge cable into the Tornado XS
charging port, and connect the other end of the charge
cable to a USB port or suitable wall adaptor. The indicator
light will illuminate red while charging. When fully charged,
the indicator light will turn green. The Tornado XS can be
used normally while charging.

Replacing the Atomizer Head
Unscrew the tank from the battery and remove the base
of the tank by unscrewing. Unscrew the atomizer head
and replace with a new one. After following the instructions
in “Priming the Atomizer Head”, screw the base back onto
the tank and ret to the battery.
Note: Leave a new atomizer head to sit in a tank full of
e-liquid for ve minutes before vaping. This ensures the
atomizer head is fully saturated with e-liquid before use.
Atomizer Head Protection
If the power button is held down for longer than
10 seconds while vaping, the indicator light will ash
10 times and the Tornado XS will refuse to power or
produce any vapour. Releasing the power button
allows normal operation to resume.
Low Voltage Protection
If the battery voltage drops to 3.3 volts, the indicator
light will ash 5 times and the Tornado XS switch o.
Charge the Tornado XS using the procedure outlined in
Charging the Battery to allow normal operation to resume.
Incompatible Atomizer Head Resistance
If the atomizer head resistance is below 0.3ohm,
the indicator light will quickly ash 5 times when pressing
the power button. If the atomizer head resistance exceeds
3.0ohm, the indicator light will ash slowly when pressing
the power button. Replacing the atomizer head with one
of a compatible resistance will allow normal operation
to resume in either case.

Short Circuit Protection
If an atomizer short circuit occurs, the indicator light
will ash 5 times and the Tornado XS will switch o.
Replace the atomizer head by following the steps outlined
in Replacing the Atomizer Head, then follow the procedure
outlined in Charging the Battery to restore power and allow
normal operation to resume.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
• Store the Tornado XS kit and its accessories
away from children when not in use.
• Please only use the charging cable provided.
• Please dispose of dead batteries in accordance
with your country’s appropriate legislation.
• Do not charge the battery in a damp environment,
or in temperatures under 0°C or above 45°C.
• Do not use the device in temperatures
under -10°C or above 60°C.
• Do not carry batteries in a pocket or bag
with other metallic objects.
• Do not attempt to repair a faulty Tornado XS battery
as these are sealed units with no serviceable parts.
Attempted repairs will void the warranty.
The Tornado XS kit components have a 6 months parts
warranty, with the exception of Atomizer Heads, which
are consumable items and covered by “dead on arrival”
warranty only. The USB cable supplied has a 12-month
warranty. If any parts are found to be faulty within this
time please contact our customer service team, whose
details are on the back page of this booklet and we will
arrange for a replacement. We may require the goods
to be returned for further investigation.

KURZANLEITUNG
Wer sich bereits mit E-Zigaretten auskennt, befolgt
einfach die folgenden Schritte, um das Gerät
schnellstmöglich in Betrieb zu nehmen:
• Den Zerstäuberkopf vorbereiten
• Den Tank befüllen
• Den Tornado XS einschalten
• Auf den Startknopf drücken und einatmen
• Die Batterie auaden (ist möglicherweise nicht von Werk
aus vollständig aufgeladen)
Den Zerstäuberkopf vorbereiten
Vor der ersten Verwendung ist es wichtig, einen neuen
Zerstäuberkopf „vorzubereiten“. Wenn du dies nicht tust,
kann der Zerstäuberkopf beschädigt werden. Halte den
Luftzufuhr-Einsteller fest und schraube den Tank von der
Batterie ab. Halte die Glasröhre des Tanks fest und schraube
die Unterseite vom Tank ab. Gebe über die Önungen
oben und den Seiten des Zerstäuberkopfs einige Tropfen
E-Flüssigkeit auf den Baumwolldocht. Stelle sicher, dass der
Zerstäuberkopf fest mit der Tankunterseite verbunden ist
und schraube dann die Unterseite wieder am Tank fest und
verbinde diesen mit der Batterie.
Hinweis: Belasse einen neuen Zerstäuberkopf vor dem
Vapen fünf Minuten lang in einem mit E-Flüssigkeit
gefüllten Tank. So stellst du sicher, dass der
Zerstäuberkopf vor
der Verwendung
vollständig mit
E-Flüssigkeit
gesättigt ist.
