■Description The AXROLL receiver is used to control a rolling garage door fitted with

a 230V motor with integrated mechanical endstops. The Axroll is

compatible with the Somfy RTS range of controls. Additionnally to the

radio safety edge (resistive), numerous safety and signaling devices can

be connected to the AXROLL (photocells, signal lights, area lighting).

This product complies with the standard EN60335-2-95. When installed

as recommended in this instruction manual and in accordance with

regulations in force, the system controlled by the Axroll will comply with

EN 13241 and EN 12453 standards. By ignoring these instructions,

Somfy will not be responsible for any resultant damage caused. The

Axroll must be installed inside the garage and connected to a motor

equipped with a manual over-ride system (LT CSI).

Hereby, SOMFY, declares that this product (AXROLL) is in compliance with the essential

requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC. A Declaration of

The Axroll is factory configured with default settings corresponding to the

requirements of the installation.

The remote controls require programming.

The Axroll operational parameters can be adjusted to create a

personalised control scenario corresponding to the accessories which

have been connected (see complementary parameters p. 8).

The Axroll parameters can be defined during the

installation process in any order of preference.

Use the or buttons to browse the menu and

display the parameter required.

Use the or buttons to change the value of the

parameter.

The last value is recorded automatically (the display is

fixed when pressing the buttons).

Ensure that the motor end-limits have been commissioned

before adjusting the Axroll parameter settings.

■Programming

the radio safety

edge modules

The radio safety edge modules are

factory pre-programmed. This procedure

is only required when re-programming

the modules.

Open the AxrollNS and transmitter module

boxes.

Press the receiver “PROG” (1) button for 1s.

A short ‘beep’ will be heard.

Press the transmitter “PROG” (2) button.

The receiver confirms the programming with a

short ‘beep’ (3).

This procedure must be completed within

10 seconds, or the receiver will drop out of the

programming mode (2 x short ‘beep’ signals).

■Replacing

the radio safety

edge transmitter

battery

The radio safety edge transmitter will emit

4 short ‘beep’ signals every 20 seconds, when

the battery is low of charge.

Remove the transmitter cover.

The batteries are mounted on the underside of

the cover.

Replace the existing batteries with new ones,

taking care to insert the new batteries in the

correct polarity indicated by the connector.

Installation

■Description Le récepteur AXROLL permet de commander à distance une porte de

garage enroulable équipée d’un moteur 230V à fins de course

mécaniques integrés à l’aide d’émetteurs KeytisNS 2/4 RTS et du bouton

poussoir radio RTS. En plus de la barre palpeuse (résistive) radio,

différents systèmes de sécurité et de signalisation peuvent être

connectés sur l’AXROLL (barre palpeuse, cellules photo-électriques, feu

clignotant, éclairage de zone).

Ce produit est conforme aux dispositions relatives aux armoires de

commande de la norme EN 60335-2-95. Installé selon les présentes

instructions et avec le respect des diverses exigences réglementaires, Axroll

permet une installation conforme aux normes EN 13241 et EN 12453. Dans

le cas de non-respect de ces instructions, Somfy se libère de toute

responsabilité des dommages qui peuvent être engendrés. Axroll doit être

installé à l’intérieur du garage avec un moteur à commande de secours

intégrée (LT CSI).

Le boîtier de commande Axroll est configuré en usine avec les

paramètres par défaut correspondant à la majorité des installations. Il ne

reste qu’à appairer la télécommande et le système fonctionne.

Néanmoins, il peut être entièrement et facilement configuré afin d’obtenir

un fonctionnement optimal correspondant aux types d’accessoires qui

lui sont raccordés ainsi qu’au mode de fonctionnement souhaité par

l’utilisateur (voir paramètres complémentaires p.6).

Les différents paramètres proposés ne sont pas

obligatoires et il n’y a pas d’ordre à respecter pour

naviguer dans les menus.

Les touches ou permettent de naviguer dans

le menu et d’afficher le paramètre voulu.

Les touches ou permettent de modifier la

valeur du paramètre. La dernière valeur est

automatiquement enregistrée (l’affichage est fixe

pendant l’appui sur les touches).

Avant toute intervention sur les paramètres, les fins de

courses du moteur doivent être réglés.
