Thank you for choosing our smanos W600 WiFi / LTE Smart Home Alarm System.
Installing the W600 alarm system is easy and quick. Before using the product, we
recommend reading the manual rst. There are some parts of the installation which
have to be done in the right order to complete the installation successfully.
Getting to Know Your System
This is a dual network system that utilizes both WiFi and cellular network. When the
WiFi is in use, the cellular network will be in standby status (make sure the cellular
function is activated from “Settings”- “My Hub”- “Cellular Network”). In the event of AC
power loss or WiFi disconnection, the cellular network will be implemented until power
or WiFi connection is re-established.
All sensors are wirelessly linked to the hub. In the event of alarm activation, for
example, when a sensor is triggered, a push notication will automatically be sent and
an alarm call will be made to all registered users.
The system can be controlled and monitored both on-site by using the remote control
supplied or remotely from anywhere in the world with our free mobile app. The
included RFID tags are used to arm or disarm the system.
The system can be expanded to include up to 50 wireless sensors, 10 remote controls
and 50 RFID tags.

Things to Note before Getting Started
WiFi Network Connection
-One critical factor affecting the performance of your hub is the relative position/
distance of your home WiFi router and the hub. Place your hub in an open area (DO
NOT place it directly on the oor); the closer the hub is to the router, the stronger the
WiFi signal.
-A slow network speed will also affect the performance of your hub. It is recommended
that you have an upload speed of at least 2Mbps or faster.
-Please be sure to connect your hub to WiFi using the 2.4GHz band as this provides
longer range, and better reception through walls. The hub does not support the 5GHz
option. Selecting the 5GHz band instead of the 2.4GHz band is the most common
mistake when setting up the hub for the rst time.
For more information about your network quality, we recommend you install network
speed test app to test your network quality.
Your WiFi Network and Password
-Check for your WiFi network’s name and password and write them down for easy
reference. The WiFi network name is commonly referred to as the SSID. The password
or security ID is normally the next line or two down from the WiFi/SSID network name.
Unless you’ve changed your network’s name and password, you can usually nd them
printed on the side of your router box, for example:
-WiFi/SSID Network Name: XXXX
-WiFi/SSID Network Password/Security Key: XXXXX
System Requirements
-iOS 8.0 or above with iPhone 5 or newer
-Android 5.0 or above
SIM Card
As W600 is a dual network system that utilizes both WiFi and cellular, when sensors are
triggered, the system will notify users through app and SMS text and phone call. For
the SMS and phone call function, a regular SIM card with credit would be needed. SIM
card is not included in the package, please consult with your local carrier for the costs.

How the Alarm System Works
Arm the system(App, RFID
Tags, Remotes, Hub)
If a sensor is triggered
PIR sensor detects an
unexpected motion
Door sensor detects a
door/window opening
The smart hub enters
“Armed” mode.
The hub sounds
at 93dB on-site.
The hub sends a push notication and text message to your phone. You will also
receive an email if you enable the notication function located in your app settings.
After that the hub will also make phone calls to each pre-set phone numbers.

Connect the Smart Hub with App
1. Download the “smanos One” App
You can nd “smanos One” in the App Store and Google Play Store or scan the QR
codes below.
Special Tips (For iPhone only)
After installing the app, which will request permission to receive notications from
“smanos One”. Not accepting to receive notications may result in an application
running failure.
2. Sign Up/In and Add the Hub to Your Account
If you have not registered an account with smanos, please tap the “Sign up” icon on
the app to create your account.
* If you do not receive an account verication code in your email during the registration process, please
remember to check your spam/junk folder to verify if it has been blocked by your service provider.

3. Adding a Device
There are TWO ways to establish a connection between W600 hub and your
smartphone – via WiFi or cellular.
WiFi Connection
Press the [+] button on the main page. Tap on [W600 Alarm], and then follow the
conguration steps to set up your W600 Alarm with your home WiFi.
Important: W600 does not support WiFi of 5GHz band, if dual-band (5GHz and 2.4GHz) router under the
same name is used, please go into your routers settings to separate these two bands into different names
and make sure to select with the 2.4GHz WiFi instead of the 5GHz's.

6
1. Plug in the adaptor and switch the power from OFF to ON. Wait for about 20
seconds until the LCD screen starts to display time.
2. Input admin password (1234 by default) and press the tamper switch 3 times on the
back of the hub continuously, and you will see “AP” on the LCD screen.

7
3. Press “Next” and you will be taken to your WiFi settings. Look for and select “W600
Alarm” hotspot to connect your mobile to the hub. When connected, return to your
app.
It is suggested to turn mobile data off from the phone during the conguration.
4. Select your 2.4GHz WiFi network from the list, and enter the WiFi network password.
The hub will connect to the selected WiFi network. This binding process should take
about one minute.
Important Notice: If you want the hub to be controlled remotely through WiFi network, the power should
be always connected to the hub. If the power adapter is unplugged, the WiFi will be disabled to conserve
battery power that enables the system to still communicate with the sensors for a longer period of time.
Cellular Connection (if a SIM card has been inserted)
In the case of a power outage and the cellular network in your neighborhood is still
working, the W600 will continue to protect your property and family for 4-5 hours on
standby.
1. Preparations before Use
-A regular-size 3G/4G SIM card is needed to be inserted into the hub’s SIM slot.
-Remove the (default) code permanently from the SIM card.
-Turn off the voice mail function if it is enabled.
