Introducing the USB 2.0 4-Port Hub
The USB 2.0 4-Port Hub is designed to support USB
equipped PC and Mac computers. This streamlined,
portability, mini-size 4-port USB 2.0 hub expands USB
connectivity to your computer, especially for notebook
computers. One switching power adapter is included.

Installation
Important: ThishubonlyoperatesatUSB2.0speedwhen
connected to a USB 2.0 controller. Otherwise, it would be
a USB 1.1 hub when connected to a USB 1.1 controller.
In order for this USB 2.0 4-Port Hub to work as a USB 2.0
hub, the driver for your existing USB 2.0 host controller
has to be properly installed. This hub will automatically
be detected and installed when connected to the USB 2.0
port.
The included switching power supply is not needed in
most cases. However, there are USB devices that require
morepowerfrom the hubtowork. In this case,pleaseuse
the power supply and refer to the device's manual for
more detail.

Connecting the Hub
There are two ways to connect this Hub to your system.
Direct Connection
Connect the Hub directly to an available USB port (USB
2.0 recommended).
Connect using included USB cable
1. Connect the USB cable to USB port (USB 2.0
recommended). This USB cable has two different
connectors. Only one connector fits the USB port.
2. Connect the other connector of the USB cable to the
Hub.
Windows and Mac OS Installation
1. Make sure the hub is connected and power up your
system.
2. Windows and Mac OS will automatically detect and
install the correct driver for this hub. The USB hub
is now ready for device connection.
Note: If you're prompted to install a driver for this hub
in certain situations in Windows, follow on-screen
instructions by clicking Next a few times, followed by
clicking Finish. No additional driver is needed. You
may be prompted to insert Windows Installation CD,
Please insert CD when prompted and follow on-screen
instructions.
