2 Installing a Video Printer1
General 1
Safety notice 1
Tests and adjustments performed with radiation on are identified with the radiation warn-
ing symbol . During these types of adjustments, radiation protection must be worn.
Protective conductor test 1
After completion of all service work and tests and reattaching all covers, perform the pro-
tective conductor test according to ARTD - 002.731.17....
The protective conductor resistance must not exceed 0.2 ohms.
Additional notice 1
These instructions apply to retrofitting a video printer on a
SIREMOBIL Iso-C only. 1

•1 set of Allen keys
When performing service work and tests, adhere to the product-specific
safety information contained in the documents, as well as the general
safety information contained in the ARTD, part 2.

•Service PC
•Service software (refer to Log book)
•Connection cable (from service PC to host) 99 00 440 RE999
•Protective conductor meter 44 15 899 RV 090

If the MS2000 multiformat camera is connected 1
Power cable 1
Videoprinter with 100VAC line voltage:
Connect the line wires to transformer T1, connector TI - 34 and TI - 36.
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal stripe (ye/gn).
Videoprinter with 120VAC line voltage:
Connect the line wires to transformer T1, connector TI - 35 and TI - 36.
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal stripe (ye/gn).
Videoprinter with 230VAC line voltage:
•Connect the line wires of the video printer at terminals X2.1 and X2.2.
•Connect the protective conductor at the corresponding location (yellow/green).
•Route the line wires to the video printer compartment.
Hardcopy exposure control cable 1
•Route the end of the cable with the 3.5 mm jack plug to the video printer compartment.
Video cable 1
•Disconnectthe75ohm terminationfrom thevideooutputofthe multiformatcamera.
•Connectthevideo cableto themultiformatcameraandrouteitto thevideo printer
compartment.
•Connect the video printer. Ensure the proper termination of the video cable
(75 ohm).
Function test 1
•Call up a fluoroscopic image on monitor A or monitor B.
•Release anexposure at the operating panel of the basic systemand at the monitor
trolley keyboard.
The video printer should print an image in both cases.
Disconnect the SIREMOBIL Iso-C from the main power supply
prior to beginning this procedure.

4 Installing a Video Printer
If a multiformat camera is not connected 1
Power cable 1
Videoprinter with 100VAC line voltage:
Connect the line wires to transformer T1, connector TI - 34 and TI - 36.
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal stripe (ye/gn).
Videoprinter with 120VAC line voltage:
Connect the line wires to transformer T1, connector TI - 35 and TI - 36.
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal stripe (ye/gn).
Videoprinter with 230VAC line voltage:
•Connect the line wires of the video printer at terminals X2.1 and X2.2.
•Connect the protective conductor at the corresponding location (yellow/green).
•Route the line wires to the video printer compartment.
Hardcopy exposure control cable 1
•Connect the control cable included with the shipment at the Memoskop "Printer"
connector.
•Route the end of the cable with the 3.5 mm jack plug to the video printer compartment.
Video cable 1
•Connect the video cable at the Memoskop "Out3" connector.
•Route the video cable to the video printer compartment.
•Connect the video printer. Ensure the proper termination of the video cable
(75 ohm).
Programming 1
For Memoskop C (with keyboard)
•Switchon thesystem.
•Press [CTRL] and[U] simultaneouslyon theMemoskop keyboard.
This calls the "User Setup menu" for Memoskop.
•Call up the "C Documentation" sub-menu.
•Perform the configuration on monitor A for SIREMOBIL Iso-C systems with one monitor.
•Perform the configuration on monitor B for SIREMOBIL Iso-C systems with two monitors.
•If the system isequipped with an area dose measurementdevice (Diamentor), call up
the "K documentation of the dose" sub-menu and configure to "yes".
•End the "User menu".

•Switch theSIREMOBIL Iso-Coffandonagaintoactivatethenewconfiguration.
For Memoskop C-E (without keyboard)
•Switchon thesystem.
•Connect the service PC tothe serviceinterface ofthe SIREMOBILIso-C.
•Install and start-up the MEMOSKOP service program on the service PC.
•Program "Hardcopy release" on SIREMOBL Iso-C systems with one monitor.
•Program "Hardcopy release" on SIREMOBIL Iso-C systems with two monitors.
•If there is an area dose product measurement device present (Diamentor), activate
"Dose on hardcopy output" as well.
•Transfer the parametersto the MEMOSKOP.
•ExittheMEMOSKOPserviceprogram.
Function test 1
•Call up a fluoroscopic image on monitor A or monitor B.
•Release anexposure at the operating panel of the basic systemand at the monitor
trolley keyboard.
The video printer should print an image in both cases.
Final steps 1
•Switch off the SIREMOBIL Iso-C.
•Test the protective conductor using the protective conductor meter 44 15 899 RV 090.
