This document contains information about options for the finisher units installed with the
Color Server Pro C900/C900s, version 3.0. These finishers include:
• Stacker
• Booklet Processor
• Multi-hole Punch Unit
• Ring Binder
In the following tables, underlined settings indicate the default setting for an option. If you do
not choose another option, the finisher uses the underlined setting. These options are set on
the Finishing tab of the printer driver Preferences dialog box.
Stacker settings
The following Destination settings apply to all of the finisher trays installed with your Color
Server Pro C900/C900s. Depending on your finisher configuration, some options are not
available.
For details about output tray settings when a second stacker is installed, see the System
Settings command in the User Tools menu on the copier's display panel.

Shift Tray/Finisher Upper Tray
Sets the output tray location.
System’s Default uses the default Color Server
Pro C900/C900s setting, and is not affected
by different finisher configurations.
Finisher Upper Tray refers to the upper tray
of the Finisher SR5000.
Finisher Shift Tray refers to the lower tray of
the Finisher SR5000.
If one Stacker and the Finisher SR5000 unit
are installed at the same time, the only
available Upper Tray is the Finisher Upper
Tr a y.
The Stacker Upper Tray is unavailable if a
Finisher SR5000 unit is installed. (The
Finisher Upper Tray is available instead.)

Ring Binder options
The Ring Binder has the following modes:
• Ring Bind Mode punches and binds jobs with rings.
• Punch Only Mode punches, but does not bind jobs.
When Ring Bind is selected, the Booklet Maker, Z-folding, Staple, Punch, and Punch Holes
options are unavailable.
Booklet Processor options
The Booklet Processor staples booklets with two staples, placed in the center.
Multi-hole Punch Unit options
The Multi-hole Punch Unit punches multiple holes.

Ring Bind
None/Ring bind/
Punch only
Enables ring binding options, and
determines whether or not the job
is bound.
If Punch only is selected, the job is punched, but
not bound.
Ring Bind Edge
None/Left/Right/Top
Selects the position of the ring binding. Left and Right options are for Portrait jobs only.
Top is for Landscape documents only.

Staple
Off/2 at Center
Sets a booklet’s staple location. When the Booklet Processor is installed, other
staple options are unavailable.

Punch
Off/Left/Right/Top
Enables punching and determines which
side of the paper is punched.
Left and Right options are for Portrait jobs.
Top is for Landscape documents only.
Punch Holes
Off/Multi-punch
Choose the number of holes to be
punched.
Other punching options in the Punch Holes
menu are for the Finisher SR5000.

Dans les tableaux suivants, les paramètres soulignés indiquent le paramètre par défaut d’une
option. Si vous ne choisissez aucune autre option, le module de finition utilisera le paramètre
qui est souligné. Ces options sont définies dans l’onglet Finition de la boîte de dialogue
Options d’impression du pilote d’imprimante.
Paramètres du stacker
Les paramètres de destination suivants s’appliquent à tous les bacs du module de finition
installés sur votre Color Server Pro C900/C900s. En fonction de la configuration de votre
module de finition, certaines options ne sont pas disponibles.
Pour plus d’informations sur les paramètres des bacs de sortie lorsqu’un second stacker est
installé, voir la commande des paramètres système dans le menu User Tools (Outils
utilisateur) de l’afficheur tactile du copieur.

Le paramètre système par défaut utilise
le paramètre par défaut du Color Server
Pro C900/C900s et n’est pas affecté par
les différentes configurations du module
de finition.
Plateau épreuve Traitement désigne le
bac supérieur du Finisseur SR5000.
Bac décalé module finition désigne le
bac inférieur du Finisseur SR5000.
Si un stacker et le Finisseur SR5000 sont
installés simultanément, le seul bac supérieur
disponible est celui du module de finition.
Le bac supérieur du stacker n’est pas
disponible si le Finisseur SR5000 est installé.
(Le bac disponible est le bac supérieur du
module de finition.)

Options du perforelieur
Les paramètres du perforelieur sont les suivants :
• Le mode Perforeliure, pour perforer les tâches et les relier.
• Le mode Perforation uniquement, pour perforer les tâches sans les relier.
Lorsque le mode Perforeliure est sélectionné, les options Brochure, Pliage en Z, Agrafage,
Perforation et Perforations ne sont pas disponibles.
Options du Processeur Livret
Le Processeur Livret permet de relier des documents par le milieu à l’aide de deux agrafes.
Options de l’unité de perforation multiple
L’unité de perforation multiple permet des perforations multiples.

Active les options de perforeliure et
détermine si la tâche est reliée.
Si l’option Perforation uniquement est
sélectionnée, la tâche est perforée mais pas reliée.

Sélectionne la position de la perforeliure. Les options Droite et Gauche concernent
uniquement les tâches en orientation Portrait.
L’option Haute concerne uniquement les
documents en orientation Paysage.

Définit l’emplacement de l’agrafage
d’une brochure.

Nelle seguenti tabelle, le impostazioni sottolineate sono quelle predefinite. Se non si seleziona
un’altra impostazione, l’unità di finitura usa quella sottolineata. Queste opzioni sono
selezionabili nella scheda Finitura della finestra di dialogo Preferenze stampa del driver di
stampa.
Impostazioni Raccoglicopie
Le seguenti impostazioni per l’opzione Destinazione sono applicabili a tutti i cassetti delle
unità di finitura installate su Color Server Pro C900/C900s. A seconda dell’unità di finitura
configurata, alcune opzioni non sono disponibili.
Per i dettagli sulle impostazioni del cassetto di uscita quando è installato un secondo
raccoglicopie, vedere il comando System Settings (Impostazioni sistema) nel menu User Tools
(Strumenti utente) sul pannello della fotocopiatrice.

un Finitore SR5000 (è disponibile invece
l’impostazione Vassoio superiore finitore).

Opzione Rilegatrice ad anelli
Per la rilegatrice ad anelli sono disponibili i modi seguenti:
• Rilegatura ad anelli esegue la perforazione e applica la rilegatura ad anelli.
• Solo perforazione esegue la perforazione, ma non applica la rilegatura.
Quando si seleziona Rilegatura ad anelli, le opzioni Booklet Maker, Piegatura a Z con
margine, Graffa, Perforazione e Fori non sono disponibili.
Opzione Assemblatore booklet
L’Assemblatore booklet cuce i booklet con due graffe al centro.
Opzione Perforatrice fori multipli
L’opzione Perforatrice fori multipli pratica fori multipli.

ad anelli.
Le impostazioni Sinistra e Destra sono solo per i
lavori con orientamento verticale.
