2. Press and hold the teach button for

> 2 seconds to enter Teach mode.

3. Remove the target or move the target further away from

the ﬁber.

4. Press and hold the Teach button for < 2 seconds to end

Programming

Attaching Fiber Optic Cables to SU18 Series

1.Unlocktheleveronthetopoftheamplier.Theleverwill

spring open.

2. Insert a standard 2.2 mm diameter ﬁber optic cable into

the housing until the cable goes no farther. For 1 mm

diametercables,insertberendsintotheadapterand

then slide the adapter into the sensor until it stops.

3.Turntheleversothatitlocks.Iftheleverisnotlocked,

the spring will push it open.

2. Pass a moving target in front of the ﬁber.

3. Release or disconnect the remote teach wire (white) to

endteachmode.BothLEDsalternateblinkingtosignal

end of teach mode. Remote teach is complete.
