Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uLove 3 massage chair. Please read the operation
manual thoroughly for the correct methods of usage and take special notice of the
safety section before you start.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to a safe and
efficient operation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the product, please take special notice of the following basic precautions:
Read all instructions before using the product.
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:
Always unplug this product from the electrical outlet immediately after use and before
cleaning.
WARNING– To reduce the risk of fire, burns, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1) Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attach
ments not recommended by the manufacturer.
2) The product should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from electrical
outlet /power source when the product is not in use, and before putting on or taking off
parts.
3) Do not operate the product under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating may occur and
cause fire, burns, electric shock, or injury to persons.
4) Do not use the product if the electrical outlet /power source is loose.
5) Do not connect or disconnect the power plug /USB cable from the electrical outlet /power
source with wet hands.
6) When disconnecting the power plug /USB cable, remove it by holding the plug /USB cable
head, and not by the cord /cable.
7) Do not operate the product if it has a damaged cord or plug /USB cable, a malfunction,
a power failure, or it is dropped into the water. Injury may occur when power is restored
unexpectedly. Return the product to OSIM Service Centre for examination and repair.
8) If the power plug /USB cable or power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by OSIM
Service Centre or its authorized service agents.
9) Do not carry this product by the power cord /USB cable or use the power cord /USB cable
as a handle.
10) Keep the product power cord /USB cable away from heated surfaces.
11) Do not place the power cord /USB cable under the product or any other heavy objects.
12) Do not wind the power cord /USB cable around the product.
13) Do not operate the product with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of
lint, hair, and the like.
14) Remove power plug /USB cable from the electrical outlet /power source immediately
should liquid be spilled onto the product as this may result in electric shock.
15) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
16) To stop using the product, turn off all controls and remove the power plug /USB cable
from the electrical outlet /power source.

17) Do not drop or insert any object or flammable material into any openings of the
product. This may result in electric shock, malfunction or risk of fire.
18) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
19) This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Keep children away when the product is
in operation.
20) Cleaning and user maintenance of the product shall not be made by children.
21) Do not use or operate the product when your body or hands are wet.
22) Do not use this product outdoors.
23) Do not use the product in an excessively humid or dusty environment as it may result in
malfunction.
24) Do not use the product in temperatures higher than 40˚C.
25) Do not expose the product to heaters, stoves or direct sunlight.
26) Do not cover the product during operation. This may result in a rise in motor tempera
ture and subsequent malfunction or fire.
27) Do not use the product in the event of a lightning storm.
28) If you should use the product in a cold room, do not increase the room temperature
abruptly. It is recommended that you increase the temperature gradually to a normal
level.
29) If the product is brought into a warm environment from a cold place where it was
stored, wait for an hour before use as there may be water droplets on mechanical parts
due to condensation. Using the product under such condition may result in malfunction.
30) Do not fall asleep when using the product.
31) When used initially, be careful and test out in low intensity for a short period to under
stand how the different product features work and what intensity you prefer.
32) Be sure to start on the gentle massage program if using the product for the first time.
33) Do not apply massage rollers directly on joints of elbows and knees, breasts or
abdomen.
34) If your legs slip off the footrest during massage, do not force them back in when the
kneading discs are clamped as this may result in injury or product malfunction.
35) Do not stand on or in product. Use only while seated.
36) Place and use the product on an even, non-slip floor.
37) Do not use the product if the fabric of the footrest is torn and the internal components
are exposed.
38) Do not disassemble the fabric cover of the product. Touching the internal components
of the product may result in malfunction or an electric shock.
39) Do not dismantle, drop, or subject the product to shock or vibration.
40) Do not use the product in combination with other therapeutic equipment or electric
blanket, etc., as this may result in ineffectiveness or injury.

41) Do not rest or place heavy objects on the product as this may result in malfunction.
42) The product must only be serviced or repaired by the OSIM Service Centre. Do not at
tempt to disassemble or repair the product.
43) Some noise may be heard from the product while in use. This is due to the structure of
the product and is normal.
44) Please do not use the product if you are not feeling well or under the influence of alcohol.
45) Stop using immediately should you experience discomfort and consult your doctor if you
experience any abnormal or severe pain.
46) The product has a heated surface. People who are insensitive to heat must be careful
when using the product.
47) This product is not intended for self-diagnosis or self-treatment of conditions that should
be managed by a qualified health care provider.
48) If you are under any medication or have any medical conditions, please consult your
health care provider first before use.
49) Avoid food intake for at least an hour before massage /usage.
50) The suggested usage duration is 15 minutes. Ensure that the product rests for 10 minutes
before it is being used again as continuous usage over a long period may activate the
overheat protection device.
51) It is recommended that your usage do not exceed a total of 30 minutes per day as this
may result in excessive stimulation and adverse effects.
52) Do not use the product when the upholstery or seat is removed. This may cause injury or
malfunction.
53) Do not rest or place heavy objects on the armrests, footrest or backrest as this may result
in injury or malfunction.
54) Do not exert excessive force on the back of your neck while using massager.
55) Do not insert your hand or foot along the paths of the massage rollers during usage as
this may cause injury.
56) Keep children away from extended footrest (or other similar parts).
57) For product using 3-pin plugs in some territories, please connect to a properly grounded
outlet only.
58) Type certified qualified low-power RF motor, without permission, companies, companies
or users may not change the frequency, increase power or change the original design
characteristics and functions.
59) The use of low-power RF motors shall not affect the safety of flight and interfere with
legitimate communications, and should be deactivated immediately if interference is
detected and improved to the point where there is no interference.
The legal communication in the preceding item refers to radio communications operating
in accordance with the provisions of the Telecommunications Law. Low-power RF
motors are subject to interference with legal communications or industrial, scientific
and medical radiometry motor equipment.
