cable to a broadband router (not

included) and the other end to the

back of the monitor.

3Connect one end of

the power cord to the

monitor, the other

end to an electrical

outlet.

1Connect Cameras to

SET UP LOCAL VIEWING ON YOUR PC SECOND

Enable Active X.

To do this, open

your web browser

to enable Active X.

2Select LOREX

IP Edit Program

option and follow

instructions from

the dialog boxes

to guide you

through installa-

tion.

1Insert the network

video CD software into

the computer’s CD

ROM drive.

4Record the 12 digit IP and the 12 digit

MAC Addresses

IP ADDRESS : . . .

MAC ADDRESS :

(record the period. It is part of the IP Address)

(DO NOT record the colorn (:))

NOTE: Active X must be enabled to set up the system. If it is already set up

proceed to Step 6, otherwise continue to Step 5.

3Double click on the

item listed under

‘Monitor Lists’ to

automaically set local

viewing settings.

NOTE: Click here

to automatically

set viewing

Second, click the

settings button

in the temporary

internet ﬁle option

and check ‘Auto-

matically’ followed

by OK. Close the

‘Settings Window’.

net’ in the address bar.

1Port Forward your Router FIRST before proceeding with the Set-up (you

must Port Forward Port 80).

All routers are different. To Port Forward your Router:

MAC address (recorded in step 2, section 4).

(eg. Johndoe). Note: An URL name should not

be more than 8 characters.

1. Enable: Click on the Radio Button (circle)

2. UserName: Enter the user name from your conﬁrmation of

registration email

3. Password: <leave blank>

4. DomainName: Enter the domain name from your conﬁrmation

of registration email.

5. Make sure the interval is set to 15 minutes

6. Click Submit
